asian women again babling on over my computor i let her carry on for a minute and then told her to sod off nicely as its a scam she didnt say anything else just put phone down on me, lets see how long this stops them for

I have had a missed call from this number today, and I recieved 2 calls on Good Friday from an Indian Lady Claiming there was a problem with my Windows. I told them I knew it was a scam and they called back.

I Suggest that if anybody gets called from someone claiming there is a problem with your computer, get them to tell you YOUR name and clarify YOUR address... Then ask their company name and Telephone number, Take their FULL Name.

DO NOT Confirm they have the right details if they do get it right.

If they give you their details REPORT them

Just had a call from these idiots. They are saying they are from microsoft windows and my computer has picked up viruses and is sending them messages. When I asked them why my computer would be sending messages to microsoft, I was asked what OS I had. I hung up as they are obviously trying to hack into my computer.

Indians again, giving the rest of their race a bad name. Really really very stupid calling a IT Manager whose job is get rid of nasty viruses just like them. And ring my number over and over again. YOU CANT CALL ME FOREVER YOU [***]!

I was contacted on 09/04 by an asian sounding male who stated he was from windows and was aware i had a problem with my PC (I happened to have a screen malfunction at the time and he "talked me" through various ways of rectifying this - including rebooting etc, but when this failed, he advised me to take to local technician and he would call back the next day to talk about the software problem!  I was then contacted today, 10/04 by Asian sounding female who insisted she was calling from "WINDOWS SERVICE CENTRE PC CARE, FLORIDA" - she kept telling me the security of my computer had "deactivated|" and it may stop working as "it's very badly affected by infection".  She told me to leave the mouse and I observed 'technical' interference by a third party moving the mouse and highlighting areas of infection - she told me I needed to purchase computer care warranties as mine had expired, and this would activate licence back into computer so it wouldn't be blacklisted - she quoted me £99 for 12months and went on to quote larger figures, for longer periods of "security" at which I 'smelt a rat'(rather too late really) and terminated the call!

they keep calling  my disabled father, on several different numbers many times a day, a few years they tricked my father into actually doing what they say as he thought they were genuine... ruined our whole computer and cleared my dads bank account right out... they've just rang at half 5 pm and i kept them going to see if i could get a company name and the Indian man on the other end said 'BC vision' from 'Microsoft' so i told them where to go as its happened to us once before and hung up, well this bloke decided he wanted to ring back several times to wind me up more! so i answered and shouted F*** O** as you would then hung up again, and once more he rang back and shouted down the phone ' same to you ' and hung up! i do hop the calls stop soon! starting to irritate me, and i hope no one else falls for this!

It's bill gates security department AGAIN!!

TPS can't do anything as it's not a real number.
Microsoft are still looking in to it
Trading standards also can't do anything, again because they don't know where the calls are coming from.

DO NOT GIVE OUT USERNAMES AND PASSWORD as sometimes they'll request!!!

Got a call from this number about 20 minutes ago. They said their name was ''Sattellite Computer Systems'' working with Windows - They didn't want to give their supposed company name right away, we had to work a bit to get it.

After asking for a contact number, the person on the line simply said 'No.'

He said he was calling because we'd downloaded a worm/virus from a website on our oldest computer downloaded from the past 2 weeks. (This computer hasn't been used in 2 months)

Also, somehow they managed to get our name and home address so just be a bit careful...

Have received silent calls and a scam call in last two weeks from this number. It is a phone number from the Indian continent.

Had three calls from this number today.....very pushy indian guy telling me he was calling from microsoft because there has been illegal activity on my computer in the last coupla weeks, the signal was terrible so when he went quiet I put the phone down. He called back VERY persistent that he was trying to help me sort my problems out and if I'd just turn my computer on and give him a few 'bits of information' he could help me, I said that if he was calling officially he would have my name and address....reluctantly he said the name of the person who lived in this property three years ago. i told him so and put the phone down
Again he rang straight back and asked me why I was being so rude when all he was doing was trying to help me sort my problems out. I told him not to call again and as yet he hasn't.

three calls from this number today, each time the phone went dead once answered.

Well this is clearly a scam because they rang me about a "computer loan" hung up wen i said i didnt want it also getting calls from 02081335985 from same srt of scam

Received a call from this number today Indian very difficult to understand going on about viruses and systems crashing.I told him the computer we had been using had been returned to it's owner who had someone who sorts problems and issues he then hung up. Gloucestershire area

had a call fron Indian sounding guy - well what a prat - told me I had microsoft service difficulties - told him I didn't own a computer (I do - but wanted to hear the reaction)  he insisted he had full details of my anti-virus software - I asked for these details - he asked me for my DOB, gave him a false date and he told me my name and 'phone no, at this point I explained my patience had riun out and to [***].
He asked why I was being so rude and that he was just trying to make a living to support his family - I told him I would send him a cheque if he would give me his address - cheeky [***] put the 'phone down. You've got to laugh - but in all seriousness surely in this day and age these scammers could be traced ?

Being getting these calls recently (South Cumbria) and each time I answer with a "Hello" the caller just hangs up.
