keeps calling when i answer they hang up i want this number to stop ringing me

I got a call from an asian man every 2 days about a virus attacking my computer. they tell me to switch on the computer and I tell them I am going out just now.

Then suddenly this women phones me on saturday and she phoned me 3 times and tells me 2 switch on my computer. I gave up and switched on the computer. She takes me on to the AMMY website and tells me to download something which never happened (I didn't click download). She was getting frustrated and was saying that she was talking to an engineer who of course who was asian and wasn't speaking in English. She said that she will get back to me another day and she did phone back. I told her that person doesnt exist but she insists that she will phone again.

Thank god for google. I knew this was a scam. She phones again. I will tell her where to go.

I've had this four times in the last week! One time they rang off, but mostly I've had the scam "virus" conversation with them. I strung them along as long as I could the first time, before telling them they were thieving scum who should be ashamed, but it's getting boring now.

I to have had phone calls from the above telephone no.. twice today & last week.  An Asian man named 'Chris' & a woman, both telling me I have a virus on my computer. I questioned the man but he was adamant he was genuine, anyway I certainly didn't give out any info. I feel sure they are a scam & would certainly like them looked into & to stop calling me. Im sure he said he was from microsoft & that he was to do with viruses on computers & I know microsoft do not phone people at random.

They called me. An Asian sounding man. Tried to tell me that I had a virus. Sounded very convincing, until he said his name. "Jack Sparrow."

got scammed by epro solutions telling me they were microsoft on this number last year, they kept ringing and got nasty when I told them I knew it was a scam - when I eventually realised!!  They are now phoning as Virtual PC Doctor - continually - to give me a refund as they are closing down.  Anyone else getting the same thing?

This needs to stop. I am now answering these calls and being very aggressive towards the caller. Im not usually a nasty person but i have had enough.

Guys, I have been recieving abuse from this number for a long time now and I am sick of it, I have tried my phone company and the police but neither can help.

I think its time we make this person known, 6 years (and maybe more)  of abuse is long enough, Lets get this man known and named and shamed.

I have emailed watchdog with the details of this scam artist and the number, I believe that if they recieve enough emails about this guy they will actually look into who he is and do something about it.

Please help by mailing watchdog a brief outline of what he has been doing so that this gets their attention,

i am sick of people like this being allowed to roam free harassing people.

Just fielded the last of 3 calls from this number after lunch, answered by an Asian woman who said one word and hung up.

Had 4 or 5 calls from this number today, which i missed, when I answered some Indian woman started rattling on so I gave her a blast of a personal alarm for 2 seconds. She hung up & hasn't called back.

Received two calls today from this number. Silence then a recorded voice says "goodbye".  I am fed up with receiving scam calls despite being on the telephone preference register but the majority of these calls are from outside the UK.

had loads of calls from this number, I'm sick of it. Always asian, first they wanted to help me with my computer problems, then they are giving out grants for home insulation. The latest they want to know what appliances I use in the home starting with the washing machine!

Today 30th August. North Yorks area. Rang 3times in the last two hours each time I answer recorded voice says "goodbye"

Not sure who these people are - but they are annoying the hell out of me.....ringing. ringing. ringing and putting the phone down, or blowing a whistle! and I'm ex directory.  Am I able to notify anyone to stop them annoying the hell out of me?

A lot of these calls are dead air, but I did have one from a foreign woman who demanded rudely to have access to my computer because it had viruses.

I told her our computer was brand new and had no viruses then put the phone down.

I have plans to string her along if she calls again by telling her to learn some manners.

They hate being told what terrible salespeople they are and should look for another job.
