Today got the same number calling me but didn't pickup.

Pre recorded Chinese female voice... seems scam worthy...

Chinese recording left on voicemail - sounds like spam  as so many ppl received the same call on a public holiday

Missed Call - Cam up as potential scam # - Did not answer, Telstra msg saygin no voicemail left

Just received this phone call. Did not answer but chinese voicemail was left. No clue what it said.
Definitly suspicious!
Does this mean my mobile number is now on some chinese database and being monitored somewhere?

Just received a call from this number too, let it straight through to the keeper. Quick google search shows it belongs to the Chinese Embassy

Yes they left messsge in Chinese on answer machine.    Blocking this too

This number 02 6228 3948 Robocall to my number which is listed with DONOTCALL. This call followed an identical call from 02 6228 3948 2 hours earlier. This is an asian speaking ROBOCALL recording that greets you when you answer - no human interaction. The incoming call is setup like we were the ones that called it, as it is for from of answering machine. BLOCK and REPORT

This call followed an identical call from "08 6281 2868" 2 hours later (yes using the '08 prefix). This is an asian speaking ROBOCALL recording that greets you when you answer - no human interaction. The incoming call is setup like we were the ones that called it, as it is for from of answering machine - company/caller name is not yet known. BLOCK and REPORT

I received this call early morning today when answered I could only hear Chinese words

Same story - missed the call and checking voicemail was a prerecorded Chinese message. Was an alert of a similar scam by the police last year assuming it’s the same thing, all posts here confirm. Just block the number

It's a haker saying that he is from the Adelaide Offic and asking for your passport details and credit card number
