Same story, missed the call. Funny enough I am Chinese, and can understand the machine language. It said there is a very important document from Chinese embassy to me, dial 9 to check further info. Must be a scam.

Received voicemail message and got Chinese guy at work to listen to it. He said something about Chinese embassy returning a call I had made and something about visa application. I never called them to begin with and never will, so I say it is [***], and it seems only to have come up in the last few days during Easter according to the first comments posted.

Then I would say that its you that they are targeting. Either that or they are as dumb as rocks, if they want everyone then they should have done it in English

Receive this call today but did not answer it, left a voice mail from a Chinese sounded lady said they call from Australia china immigration department and said have a document for me  and bla bla bla. Anyway  is a scam guys! Dont  need to  bother  it. Few weeks ago  i have a Chinese  friend  who  are citizen in Aus almost get scam.  They pretending something wrong  with ur passport and said someone used her passport  to traveling and asked you for more personal details and then ask for money and stuff.  Dont fall to this scam!

I received a call. A Chinese woman spoke, so I hang up. The voice seemed recorded.

0262283948 called. Claimed to be from chinese embassy. The call claims to have something of yours in the chinese embassy, hence you should call them. Likely a scam. If need so, visit the embassy physically rather than calling.

I answered my pkone only to hear what appeared to be a chinese answering serevice ...

I just recieved a call from 0262283948, like others have said when I answered they hung up, when called back I only got a recorded message in Chinese?  very strange .

I speak it, it say “you have fortune to be collected. Emperor has delclared you new victor and you get money for being lucky man. You must call back and say magic word of your bank PIN number to collect”

The same thing happened to me right now and when I heard the Chinese recording message I hung up and put the number in. Call from Canberra, Australian Capital it said, so weird. Scam!

Even I received this call and it was same some Chinese answering machine on other end. Highly suspicious it being scam
