Very strange call from Asian speaking person.....unwanted call........just  a damn nuisance....

Same thing - call from 02 6228 3948. Answered and it was a prerecorded message on repeat in Chinese.

I got a call, too. They must've called before as it came up as reported scam of fraud( my phone screen changed to a red colour). They left a message but couldn't be converted to text.

Answered the call. It was a recorded Mandarin/Chinese voice. I know Mandarin, it says" This is the Chinese embassy in Canberra, we want you to know that you have a file at the embassy, press one to continue...". I checked the number and found out that it is from the Chinese embassy. I think they are collecting information on Chinese citizens or Chinese Australians. If press one they will record your number and call you to go for their fake paid pro-China protests. I think we should call the Australian Federal Police to tell the Chinese embassy stop harassing Australians here in Australia.

Answered the call. Chinese voicemail! Hung up straight away. Thought it may have been the ex-wife. She was Chinese. Well..... I believe she stil is!

Received a missed call from this number while at work. When I called back later, it went to a Chinese speaking answering machine. Sounds like scam

pre recorded female speaking in Asian language.
tried cutting her off by pressing a number and it started dialing then i cancelled the call

Its Mandarin - Automated - something about press 1 on dial pad because there is a parcel to be picked that has been there for a while. Scam

Got the call mid day and let it ring since I don’t answer unknown numbers. It came up as an ACT Canberra number. They left a voicemail in what sounded like a Chinese language. I blocked the number in case it’s a scam.

I’ve received this voicemail message before but first time from an actual number. I wonder who investigates this?
