genuine number you have been fined without knowing but the sum now includes 310 pounds of bailiff charges
to get them removed from the actual sum you owe go to court with a stat declaration as you didnt know about this until now if you send it by post it has to be registered and addressed to a fines officer that is the law

Received a letter from HMCTS Kent - Surrey & Sussex Enforcement Business centre - Div 099
On the header of the letter should give you a Po Box number as well as the place , google this & it should relate to the phone number also on the header . . .
Ring the number & give them the account details & they can confirm weather this is a bonafide official court letter or not , they will have all details of the offence on record & dates too .
I think it's best to do your own homework first rather than go marching into a police station .
Mine was real (worst luck!) , but do not ignore these letters , also do not pay straight away , always talk to someone on the 01 or 02 number first . . .

That letter came with the enfircement officer.... I was just shocked 637.69 to pay. Cuz  red green traffic lights failure.... Now hes calling me all the time and still asking to pay. Iam a bit afraid cuz this is my familly house. My grandma had shock. Tell me best problem solution

I had a text telling me I haven’t paid my fine and that I have to call this number to pay it.
A few weeks ago I had a letter telling me I need to pay a £150 fine for TV Licensing.... I don’t have live TV as the signal is so crap in my area! I literally live off Netflix and Now TV 😂.
I’ve called them multiple times to tell them I don’t need a license and when spoken to them they agree... but now apparently I downloaded and used bbc iPlayer on 14th April when I never did!!

Received a letter said I had to pay a court fine. Same MO as the threads below. I work in enforcement  and these scams are getting more and more elaborate. At the minimum they are fishing for your information the only function that will work is their payment to account details. The phone numbers wont. Report these to ACTION FRAUD UK on line (City of London Police) and they will give you a Crime Ref Number for your reassurance. Keep calm and bin it!

Got same letter as you all asking to pay a fine for £200. Did not state reason why, called the number, they were happy to for me to pay the fine but can't tell me why I'm being fined. This looks so fishy haha
