I got this call this morning. And yes!! It is from Menara Maybank from cc department. They just told me that my cc has suspended transaction last night, claimed under socialgold.net. It is kinda of on9 gaming. So, they juz want to be sure either i'm using my cc based on that purpose or not. But it wasn't me, so they block the card, and will replace it. To prove it, I called the customer svc and confirm my conversation before, to the cc department. and they say yes, it was form mbb cc department to protect our acc from kinda of fraud activities. Then i checked my mb2u to sure if they're blocking my cc. And yes, it was. So, guys be careful and beware of this matter.

I received a call on 24/4/2011 at 9;50am saying that he calling from Maybank Credit Card,
He ask me wheather did I bank in an amount of RM 540.00 of Astro Payment in my credit card acount through the cash deposit machine. I told him that I did not own an Asro before so how could I bank that money, He also say that he will block my Credit Card and he say that he will send me a new credit card to the nearest maybank,

I call back this number (03-27727500) but this number is in connection error, and I suspect that this is a scam. I don't think that the Maybank staff or Officer is working on SUNDAY (WEEKEND), I think that he might be instead of  blocking my credit card, he is uttilising my credit card.

If this is true than I have to make a polis report tomorrow !!!!!

Confirmed. It's call from maybank. They're calling just to verify when we use our credit card to buy something from online.

This morning i got a call from this number too~~~ he said i won rm100 from daily spend?? i was so blur + still on my bed.. dono what he is talking about and also need to verified my address...

i got it too....they said that will sending an email on the purpose of interview...but till now i dint received any...

waaa....i want to go for interview, tomorrow is the day
so how im gonna contact them again..please help

Any1 can comfirm this number is frm Maybank Credit Card?I receive this call just now(12/02/2012 11:05pm)ask did i make a online transction ard 11pm.It nvr ask my detail,and tell me will block my card and ask me after 4 working days den go nearest Maybank branch take a new card.But my credit card only make for petro filling.it is a scam call?

I got this call too..they said i got sn interview this wednesday n will send an emel..but until now i didn't receive any...should i go 4 the interview or not?

Yes this is menara maybank number,b coz my friend work there,and he call me from his office using this number..

its maybank. many department from maybank use this same outgoing number. could be crdt card, loan, housing etc. its all from menara maybank kl. no worries. they put number super private so not registered anywhre but genuine maybank number.

i rcvd a misd kol 2 from that numb yestrday (27727500). for me this numb is not from maybank. it might be from idiot person who want to play a stupid game.LOL~

same goes to me.. LOL
