Maybank will never send you email for updating.
He asking don't trust any email from Maybank.

Got a call from maybank for interview too.... But no email is sent to me.... Should i call this number or not?

Yes it is indeed Maybank. They tried to call me 2 days in a row (using that number) but I did not answer. Then the person left me a voice message saying that I need to return their call by fialing the number stated behind my credit card. I called (1 300 886688) and Maybank confirmed they've made the call from 0327727500. They are calling to verify your transaction, that's all.

i tried to purchase some game points online using my credit card, then it was declined for some security reason and suddenly this number called me. didnt pick up, i searched thru the web and saw this page. i think they just want to check whether our card is protected and not being used by someone else. this is good to avoid fraud cards though :)

Its from Maybank, they called me twice, after reading this page i picked up the call, he was calling to confirm the number of transactions i made today (which was relatively a lot). its good (though can be motherly irritating) procedure i guess...
