just received a call from this number. i think it's legit, not a scam. because earlier on i had trouble using my maybank debit card then he called me to inform me to settle it by calling maybank's operator number, that's it.

Just got a call about why my card was rejected from buying something online the night before. The caller told me I needed to verify the card before I could do so. He was calling to check up to make sure that I was the one who tried to purchase it. Legit Maybank.

Receive call yesterday evening(15/8/2016) claim shamala calling from maybank hq..asked my detail like my name,ic,address...I was surprise when shr knows my current location whereelse i never register my current location to maybank...inform them that i will go to nearest branch to update...immediately called maybank customer service and the confirm to me that this number not their HQ no...

Maybank Credit Card fraud verification. Call me for failed CC payments because of credit limit. Confirm and  inform me to raise the limit and payment went through.
