i get this call at least 10 times a day and when i answer the phone they hang up on me... i have had enough of this CRAP! by reading these all the other people's messages i find that its VIPTel.
i have been ripped off by them, they told me that i get a free phone with my plan and 3months after receiving my sim card, still no phone. wat the hell?

I have been contact by this xxx company with an offer of LCD or a computer. It sound very strange that a friend of me call Kelly give them my personal data when i DO NOT HAVE ANY FRIEND CALL KELLY. I ask the gentleman, who i hardly understand, if the communication is being recorded. He answered;" i am not sure", this sound very dodgy. So i ask him to please record the communication. I make a  very clear statement that i did not want any of his offers.
The gentleman did not provide with his lastname when i asked. He appeared also to doubt when i reask about the name of the company.

Someone calling me from 0399360500, i don't know who is this person or company's number. Please if someone can find any info. about this number, let me know. Thanks!

Hey they just trie calling me so I googled their number to see who it was and clearly *scrolling up*  they're scammers. I think they tried this on me last year also .. I hear it's a complete scam! .. VIP TEL is some communications company. They just an online tele marketers! .. All [***]!!

Funny - You call them back and it goes through the menu and when you press 3 to speak to an operator it tells you to please hold then hangs up on you! DODGY [***]!!!

Hey google the name VIP TEL .. Its a telecommunications telemarketing company but they're not legit!

I received a call from a no number then my husband received a call from no number. Then I received a call from 0399360500 which my hasband answered, they didn't talk to him and he waited till they hung up.

If this is you company's number "0399360500" then your company is a scam and so are you. Serching the number proves it because when you have so many complaints then you switch to another number.

i.ve been getting calls from that number as well 6 times a day every day 4 the last month and when they call again im goin 2 let them have it and i did call the police and they said 2 say every think under the sun 2 them [***] as they r a scam

VIP-TEL is a phone and internet company, they had an offer going to build their customer base, one of your friends signed up and gave them your number so they could get a free netbook PC, they had to give them 10 numbers of people they know. Answer them and tell them to stick it, bet they know your name too.

I have received a call from this number for the past few days... and have refused to answer. the only time i answered was when i had just woken up. they said they got my number from a friend of mine in a different suburb... but i didn't recognise the name. so i've been ignoring them since.

Same deal, i got called by some freaking indian saying my friend wesley smith had given my number to him. I asked how he knew wesley and he mumbled some bullcrap about how his parents gave him wesleys number. I told him i wasnt interested and hung up. It bothered me coz ive never gotten a spam call on my mobile and he knew my name so i googled and found this site.

I answered the call but did not say anything. The other end hung up a few seconds later.

Get calls from strange numbers so i do a search and if they come up with a wierd name or company i send the numbers to my reject list which most phones have it stop them calling me all hours esp, at night when everyone should e sleeping and not at work .

go to a site its called donotcall.com.au i think u register with them and its take at least 30 days to go through but its worth it i hope this help.;-)

I recieved a call from this number about 12 months ago. entered into a contract and ended up with a "new phone" plus a 18 month contract, before i gave in they called me about 5 times. I have not used the phone and they keep rining me for different things... The line is from OPTUS nothing new there. They are not a scam company but try and keep away from them anyway i recon. they said i would win a plasma tv if 3 of my friends join up with them, they did so and i'm still waiting for my tv so that part is not true. The contract is 18 months and could be abtained cheaper through any of the providers themselves eg OPTUS TELSTRA OR VODAPHONE.

the company calling from this number is VIPtel owned by Edirect Pty Ltd  website www.viptel.com.au they are a particularly nasty lot if you ask me, when you tell them not to call marketing their Telecommunication services they will call you one call after another in rapid succession just to piss you off ... dob them into ACMA and make a complaint
