This phone number belongs to Viptel. They will offer you a mobile phone deal and as a bonus they promise you a TV or laptop or iPhone etc etc that you will never receive. Do not give them any of your banking details. They will rip you off. They direct debit money from your bank accounts without your permission, overcharge you for calls that you never made. They are also very rude and will not take no for an answer. If they call you tell them to [***]. This is just a scam.

Ugh, they keep calling me on my mobile, it's getting really annoying. But I've saved the number to my contacts, so I'll know who it is when they call again, and can ignore them. Hopefully they'll get teh essage that I'm not interested in whatever crap they're trying to sell.

Got ph calls for past 2 weeks had enough now every morning i wake up i ring them first and just abuse the rat-dogs non stop i even give them my name and d.o.b told them dogs to record it and to wipe my number off there system even though i know they wont and keep telling them ui gettting closer to the address this number is coming from and are getting the boys ready to do a run through on these annoying [***] inbreed excusse of a human being

They Called me just then but I didn't pick up. I have a feeling it was the same company that rang me like 8 months ago claiming my friend gave them my number..

I get a call from these guys at least once a day everyday. I even got a call after 9pm one evening. The name of the company is VIPTEL.

I am going to contact them on Monday and asked to speak to a General Manager and I am will take legal action if they don't stop calling me.

Its a mobile phone company called VIPTEL. They are a legitmate Melbourne based company but very very annoying.

my sister has received over 8 calls from this company in the last 24hrs, 6 of them in the middle of the night advising my partner had given her name and number out..(which he did no such thing), i rang them this morning and abused the guy who answered but did not give out any numbers and mine comes up private, after having my fun i then hung up on the moron who i could hardly understand as he sounded like he was from India or somewhere like that........not happy at all....

This just happened to me then. Not 5 minutes ago, he actually started yelling at me it was intense

yup, jst got a call from them too on my mates phone for like, 4th time

i took it this time, they wouldnt stop talking so i said 'listen stop [***] talking' and then shes like i beg your parden,  i told the woman to [***] off and we werent interested in buying [***]

threatened to file an abuse report and they hung up, they claim to know his friends too.

I got a call from them about 15 minutes ago. They said that I've been a long time customer with my "mobile service provider" and that they wanted to reward me with a free laptop. The guy with a strong indian accent, bad connection and difficult to understand then went on to ask what would be a good time to deliver the laptop to my home. I immediately knew it was a scam (I'm an ex cop) and told him I wasn't interested. He then reiterated that I was being given a free gift by the my "mobile service provider" and I noticed how he failed to even mention what company he's supposed to represent, so I tested him. I asked who my provider was and of course he got it wrong and he quickly hung up.

This number has been calling my daughter at school just about every day since she got her new number. I have no idea who it is as when we ring back it the person hangs back up straight after answering and without speaking. It is more than annoying now. They are calling from india i can identify from there accent
coz these days many aus telecom comp doing there marketing from overseas

I received a call from them I knew who they were afew years ago we were harassed by them,I told them no thanks only for him to raise his voice at me and I couldn't get another word in so I hung up,he calls a few minutes later asking me why I hung up? I asked what's his comany name? He giggled and hung up on me! This looks like a shifty company,is it legal for them to obtain your details? (such as name?)he's prob using my name to other people that I recommended them to this company (which I have not) geez I wish this comany would disappear,I wonder how many sales they actually get? Not many hmmmm I wonder how they pay their little minions? Hmmmm....

These guys call me about twice a month, I just missed a call from them then but I recognized the number. The guy I spoke to last time from this number was of indian background and knew my name, but only by  a nickname that everyone calls me. I don't know where he got my number as he didn't say but I told him to stop and they haven't. There's gotta be something you can do?
