They keep calling me every 2 minutes, can anybody tell me who they are??

they call me every 2 minutes!!!!

I just got a call from these people saying that i was referred to them by my friend "Rodney" and I dont think i even know anyone with that name... WTF. I hang up before the she went any further.
It was an overseas call

Constantly calling. These people called me again just now after REPEATEDLY telling them not to.
Once they took my details - address, date of birth saying i was going to get a free SMS Optus pack, but nothing came of it...very physhy! :)

Some dodgy Sri Lankans in Melbourne...might wanna ask them if they do people smuggling if they call you...that might stop the calls.

some one called me from this number and said you are going to die and agein said your are going to die
and I hang up.

well, everyone BUT VIP!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY brother had them recomended to him, he signed up, and i got "THE CALL", your friend sujested you would like to hear what we have... you can have a laptop for free just for joining up...  "ok, i'm listening",says i!...  ALL OF FIVE OPPERATORS LATER, AFTER OBTAINING AS MUCH DETAIL I WOULD CAREFULLY GIVE, THEY TOLD ME, I HAD TO BE A VALUED COSTOMER AND PAY THEIR BILLS IN FULL 4 TIMES B4 I GOT MY FKN LAPTOP!!!!!! but what about the details i've given? why did i go through this [***] to find out your not giving me what you said how you said it!!! I had been arguing with these people the whole time... i'm a pensioner, what if i can't afford you bills, are you gunna take me to court? all my questions were passed from one operator to the other, no-one answered what i was asking, and they insisted they were keen to sign me up!!!!!!   I'm actually suprised i didn't hang up when he said my name.. suprised my brother gave details, both of us have been hasselled by these buggers ever since... oh, and there crap was no where as good as the loyal pre-paid optus that i have!!!! optus got me to this page to say VIP ARE CRAP!  BLOCK THEIR NO'S!  THIS ONE- &1300785847.... BE SAFE!

i have had these dogs calling me sooo many times over the last week.. they really want me to join ive just had 2 now 6 on friday just gone and about 2 or 3 times i think it was on thursday... its getting beyond a joke wouldnt u think that they would get the hint if i didnt answer the number.. the worse thing is they also ring off a private number and i no its got to be them cause they ring with the private number straight after or before this number that comes up... i hate people that scam others i mean i no thats their job to ring people and ask but there is no need to harrass anyone to buy into wat they are selling... take NO as an answer an move on to the next... lol

i did  research on this...  company name is vip telecom in melbourn vic 8004.. owner of this campany is egodahage sajith alwis samarakoon who goes byt the name sajith egodahage born 10/2/1969 in the country of sri lanka   ABN: 81 131 307 215
which is still currently registered... sorry but im so sick of there calls so i did my won research which are all public websites to check status of business...

I have had them ringing me since the 19/10/10 relentlessly I average about 15 calls a day from this number I am getting really annoyed, you would think after the first thirty they would give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have got a few missed call from this number. i picked up on  of their  calls and  they  knew my  nick name and i  could  not  understand the guy after that  so i  hung  up on them and they  called back as i  let it  ring  out.. who  are they

the police do nothing about this sort of stuff, its up to your service provider to stop the calls. police will only respond if there is a threat against your person(s). they are very harassing calls, tust me, this company has called me at least 12 times. i work in a similar industry and we do nothing of the sort.

what what ever you do, dont sign up with them , is a company called vip tel, they will screw you over ,

If you didn't agree to anything then there should be no reason to worry!!!  If you wanna stop the incoming calls then block there number with your service provider!!!

However if you did agree to sign up to there deal then they will send out an information package which also contains a cancellation form which you can sign and return to them within 14 days i think - thats what happened to me!!! But they'll still harass you after that, it would seem not everyone in the company knows that i cancelled which is kinda funny when you get calls stating "Are you enjoying our services sir" in an indian accent.
