I received the same msg at 6.45a.m this morning well P'd off as Sun called BT as thought it was an error from them she told me to google it and have found loads of people had different calls from this number and am now worried as have called it a few times trying to retrieve obviously non existent msgs!!!

I got 2 calls from 07953966066 and my call log on 11 Oct shows them received from Virgin Text Messaging. I started looking at this after being charged £4 by Virgin Mobile for 2 texts on 11 Oct apparently to Gameloft. Gameloft say they were sent to a Samsung mobile but mine is an HTC. Both Gameloft and Virgin says its nothing to do with them. Any ideas?

So we went out last night, leaving a babysitter in charge of the house... the baby had only just got back into a good sleep rhythm... and what should happen? These bloody jokers ring FOUR times with nonsensical text messages. And of course messed up the baby's sleep while also scaring the babysitter, who had no idea what was going on. We've blocked them. But is there a way of making them just stop?

A very annoying problem that I did not request.  We keep getting messages from my mobile to my home landline number. All are blank

I got a message form this number +447953966066 saying that the message I had sent to 0161 7476062 would be delivered after 7am to avoid disturbing the receiver.... I never sent a message and I don't know any of these numbers!!!

Must be a scam?

got the same this morning at 04.30, garbled message, rang 1471 got the 07953966066 number, rang the 0800 number, says i should only get these messages after 8am and before 11pm, not at 4.30 in the morning, my phone is on virgin, so they will be getting a call later..

We too had a call from 07953 966066 at 05.00am. on our land line, I have gone down the road of contacting Tmobile dirrectly from their web site. I suggest we all do the same hopefully after them being bombared with complaint emails they will do something about it..

Why do people with such technical intelligence waste their time setting these up in the first place?

I was called at 4.10am from 07953966066. I phonned it back and it diverted me through to a automated message which i couldnt really understand as it was spoken in a robot voice. It did have an option to stop recieving these messages to my phone which i obviously opted for, but was still annoyed that they would ring early hours of the morning and panic us all, i mean the only reason someone would phone me at that hour is if there had been an accident, so i was genuinely worried to begin with. Jokers!!

at 2.54am this morning,i had a call from this number.as it was the middle of the night i was very confused but most of all very annoyed,the recorded message said my name,said it was a text message from pvc and to call urgently a number i didnt quite get starting with 08444.

Left a message on our BT answering service.  To call this mobile number above.  Assumed it was a scam of some sort so didnt call back

I have a feeling this number is linked to 1st Credit or Vanquis Bank

Just had this number leave half a message on my phone asking me to call them back, i just deleted it as it sounds like an expensive redial scam

got a call today from 07953966066 asking me to call back with a message I could not understand
I am an ex directory number so they must be fishing for numbers, and locked on to mine

I have had this number call me on 5 Nov at 01.30 and today 6th Nov at 04.30.  I am quite unwell and do not sleep good, both times I have stayed awake all night unable to relax.  I believe what you give out is what you get back, so whoever is doing this to me and all of the other people on this site must have some real disturbance in their lives.  My landline provider tells me to tell the Police if this continues or change my telephone number!!  If I want the number blocked, it will block all other mobile numbers to my landline.  In today's technology, there MUST BE A WAY

I have had x2 calls from this number to my land line and have called BT Nusiance Advice 0800661441.  They advised turning off the text messaging service - let's hope that brings some peace!

These nuisance calls are back again,
it called me 5 times last night, read the text to me and then said "press 1 to replay or 2 to set your options"
but it doesn't react to the numbers you press ... it's just a recorded announcement and you can't interact with it.

So I called the number back and got the same result, it played some rubbish message and then ignored me pressing numbers.

Had exactly the same call as above  called 4 times with 10 minute intervals then again after 1 hour I redialed the number to see if it connected and got the voicemail that doesn't respond . Have also had the calls from bogus it department that says they have detected virus on my pc .this is a nasty voice scam they try to get you to open up your pc to them on line to fix it need I say more. I just play them along running up their bill  but do not do what they say  these calls seem to come from a mobile number but if you try to call it it doesn't exist . When i tell them I have been tracing the call the line drops instantly lol! I am a pc engineer and spend a lot of time virus removal they can't well remote virus or your telephone number

I received a text message to my land line just now.  It was sent in error by a friend from their mobile.  Then I received a phone call from 07953966066 which appears to be an answering service from my friend's mobile provider (unknown) so I can retrieve or read again or delete this text message.  I haven't bothered to delete it so it remains to be seen if I hear from them again.  I've had two calls from them so far.  A nuisance but not sinister I don't think.

Keep getting missed calls from this number and have just received voicemail from it on my mobile phone which i have chosen not to listen to! Can you block these without it costing any money?
