had a lot of these calls todaY 07953966066 about 5 during the day the last one being at 17 24pm 20 dec 011 have not responded to the calls think they are scams

Get text message calls on my landline no,. I dont recognise whose calling how do i stop it

this number called me the message was happy easter. As I do not know this number I decided to google it and it led me here.

Received a landline text from this number this morning. The message was a joke about weather in Scotland. Quite good actually, so assumed it was a brother sending to the landline in error. Not so. was this number. Odd, or what?

I had one of these calls today at around 12:30 pm. I reported to the police.
The message said somebody had had a 5 pound baby and was hemorrhaging badly.

Call @ 1545.message said "Please call this number immediately."sounds like a scam.

Started having phonecalls of this number on 29/12/11 quite late at night. constantly ringing me again tonight... messages are as follows

I am not going to ring the number it tells me to so i can stop them as i have a feeling it will charge me a lot!! bloody scams!!!!

Twice in ten minutes - Judging by the dates of previous submissions, T-mobile have done absolutely nothing in barring this number See how quick they can do it if you don't pay their bill !!

I suggest a concerted effort in complaining to Offtel - if everybody sent a complaint 3 times a day every day until it stops. Only problem is that the scammers will just get a new number

This is a text message sent to a landline # and the caller ID comes up as 07953966066. This is the text messaging service number and not the number that tried to text you.

As an example; Last night my daughter accidently texted me to my work landline number (rather than my mobile) but she soon realised and then texted me to my mobile. This morning I saw that there was a missed call at work and a message from 07953966066. The message was the text, read out automatically.

It's no scam, just a service. I think my daughter is on T-Mobile.

They phoned my landline and said there is a text message for you.
They said the text was blank.  Asked me to phone this number back   Repeated to phone the number  several times.  

When the call was  ended I pressed 1471 and the same number was listed so they must have used the mobile number to call my landline.  

I never bothered to reply;


This is the second time I have had a call from this number.

received a call at 07.20hrs, didnt answer as I was in bed. I was left a text message on my landline saying 'how are you? x' Unfortunately I have sent a text message to this number asking who it is. No doubt I will now get more on my mobile!!!

Just had this number on my landline and a very garbled message was read aloud to me, twice.  Don't know who / what it was about - but definitely did NOT call back from landline.  Possibly made the mistake of dialling back from my mobile though - so will see what happens.
Think it's high time somebody with some sense and the necessary powers put a FULL STOP to all the crap on our bloody phone systems!  
Bet the Tax Man is getting rich from it all somewhere along the line! - or at least it makes you think so.

had 1 of these nuisance calls early morning on the 28th dec 2011, rather sick as my dad had been taken ill same time and was in hospital having had 3 strokes, not happy at all very intrusive and un nerving, please someone stop these morons being able to do this. please note my provider is sky talk and in no means am i saying the message came from them only that they informed me of the message.

Two calls from this number, at 2240 and 0150!! saying we had a text message saying "You home?" Nobody we know would text the landline so presume it's a scam...................a bit worrying though.

Got a call from this number 07953966066 and said it was a company called Triad. My mum picked it up but it was an automated service but at the start it asked for me by name but cannot call it back as it askes to set up a message service.

Received a call from 0753966066, was read out a text message with foul language that made no sense to me or anyone in the household. It then asked me to call a different number to get further messages. Clear scam, didn't bother.

Here it is in simple terms.

07953966066 is the Voice to text number for T-Mobile.  This service converts text messages sent to a landline from a mobile into voice messages.

The reason they always come in multiples or in the middle of the night is because people are accidentally sending texts from their mobiles without knowing it, for example when inadvertantly sitting on their phone, which happens most often when folk have had a few drinks.

You can switch off the service by dialing the number and selecting the appropriate options from the list.  The phone call lasts approx ten seconds.

Just had the call. It was a compute text message. will this cost me, I worry
