Keep calling all the time....they are a scam company!

Yes I have just had the same call, 1571 tells me there is a message from a mobile which I managed to pick up, I rang it and the guy said he knew nothing about it. Before ringing the 07953966066 number I thought I Google it and hey presto, it seems like a scam, have people nothing better to do???

Had a call this afternoon from this automated number to my landline. The automated service wanted to know if the landline number was mine. I replied by text which bounced back saying that I was unable to send a message to the number. I will be lodging a complaint to my service provider as I think this is a scam.

Had a 1571 message from this number. The message said:

"Message From 07432473523. Charities stuff being collected next thursday...<then garbled>"
Then a voice message saying "to hear this message again ring 07953966066 and press 1"

Scam - report it, delete it.

I've just had a call from this number @ 10.38pm.  Anyone who knows me and wants to send a text knows my mobile number, so I came straight onto Google, to check out the number as I wan't about to call it back.  It was a female (computerised?) voice stating that it had a text message for me saying 'come to such a place (sorry didn't catch it, as it was spoken so fast) xxx' then it stated it was from an 07904 number.  It then repeated the message at the same speed, so you've got no chance of catching the details fully.  It then states if you want to hear the message again to ring 07953 966066.  No way am I doing that, I've heard about the scams where they take over your phone line and run up huge bills!

Going to log onto BT now and block the number for the future.

Just had a call to my mobile from this number (I didn't answer) but dont know how they got my mobile, as I don't give it to anyone that I dont know.

STOP WORRYING PEEPS, THIS IS NOT A SCAM!

This is a number that calls when someone has accidentally texted your landline. The message says that 07xxxxxxxxxxx (your friends number if you check on your mobile) has texted, and the message is then read out by an automated voice. Always sounds a bit weird!

I know this because my auntie always texts my home phone number inadvertently, and I have had other random mis-texts from friends in this way. Thought I better add this having seen a post above saying they were freaked by an "I am waiting for you" call - was probably just yer mate, er, waiting for you somewhere and texting to let you know - hope you weren't too freaked to go out!

I was worried at first when I received a recorded message with this number included.

However, IT IS NOT A SCAM. My Dad had suddenly worked out how to send text messages and had sent one to my landline by mistake. I called 07953 966066 and was informed of the sender's mobile number and received the message. I've now deleted it and set my preferences so that I will no longer received messages like this.

It is not sent by accident it has been happening from this 07953966066 number since at least 2007 and to many hundreds of people. It is in my case always when I'm sleeping always a Bible text or telling me to come somewhere that is garbled. Scary is that I moved in 2009 and it followed me.

This number 07953966066 start annoy me. Every day it rang every 5 min it rang even I hang up tried the 0800 bt text service no use it isn't a bt text service. Why don't the phone cant let us choose who we want to block for ever

I just had this number 07953966066 ring my landline, i never answered as i didnt recognise the number when it came up, when i dialled 1571 to see if they left a message, they had and it was automated quoting lots of numbers and then asking if i was getting nuisance calls regarding debt issues and said they were from opos, from what i have seen on here, nobody actually knows who they are as i have seen several different company names for them, seems it was pointless registering all phones in this house with TPS as it has done nothing to stop all these random calls, day and night and even sundays.

Had this number 0795366066 this morning asking we to ring this number back havnt they better things to do than disturbing people ,

For some strange reason a debt collection agency has just contacted me - if anyone else reads this please telephone the police as this is an intrusion into your privacy.  I have never been in debt in my entire life, have never borrowed money and should I need to then I would prefer to ask my parents rather than organisations like this.

I used to work for the Samaritans and we had similar calls from perverts who would pick up the telephone and breathe down it for a few seconds - these sort of operators are extremely strange....

I found out their numbers by going through Google and asking "who owns the mobile number" 07953966066, and then I found that it belonged to 3 companies:
COMPLIANT DEBT COLLECTION; ICON COLLECTIONS INT LTD. and NO CREDIT CHECK LOAN (the last one being part of Norton Finance.co.uk) - anyway, I'll leave it to the police as it is an intrusion into my privacy.  This is 'Saved' to my computer and all details added to my 'Favourites' - hopefully someone else will do the same.  Hope everything goes well.

Have just had the umpteenth call from this ***** number. How do you stop it? It ring at 2am ! in the morning and again around 5am and then throughout the day. Isn't this illegal?
Am reporting it to the Police

Have had these calls, purporting to be from a friend's T-mobile no, since late March, at all times of day and particularly latenight/early morning.   Have today tried the Option 3 procedure and will wait to see what happens.   I have since contacted BT about my bill and found out that so far have not been charged for the call to do this, which I did by ringing back the 966066 no. Hopefully it will now stop.  T-mobile appeared very slow to advise my friend about this.   Surely they should have some power to trace such nuisance.  Perhaps OFTEL should get involved?

Received call from this number at 2.15 this morning. Not happy! We are ex-directory so do not know how someone got our number. Will be speaking to BT. Not sure if it is a scam or just malicious calling.

Have just been called by this at 25 minutes past midnight and again just now (00:48) am going to try to do the 0800 number thingy & option 5 thingy mentioned above as have got a feeling it will continue to call - notice the time!! Have not answered it or called back, tho possibly would have done had I not read these comments first. Hope it stops!

So rang the BT line thing stated above. Turns out we are on the option for no SMS messages between 11pm and 8am. So why did I just get two of them after midnight just tonight ? Have now selected option 5 to stop SMS msgs altogether.

Got a call at 11:20pm on 13th May saying 'ring this number back if you want these calls to stop'. Is this a prank call? Is a little intimidating however.
