Yes, just got called on my BT landline asking for an address to send an anniversary card to ??? But they hoped I was enjoying my job and seemed to know what it is so a bit scary. Glad I googled the number and read these messages

Someone has just sent a text to your landline by mistake, this service turns it into a voice message and calls you instantly with the message.

You can call the number and choose an option for not receiving any more calls.

i believe this number to be either a scam or a balift which harasment people for money they dont owe.
they leave text message on ur phone which u can not make head nor tail off .

Sounded like invite to party but was all jumbled up.Very upsetting as just had bereavement in family

I got a call from this number but it read out a genuine message that was sent from a friend who by mistake sent the text to my land line instead of the mobile.. at the end it gave me an option to call a different number if I do not want to receive calls from this number anymore but I did not care for it so did not write it down.

They are still at it - no message left other than to call this number to stop calls being made. Needless to say, I have not called it.

I got a call from 07953966066, it was a text message asking if i was still going to the show tonight, i am sick of the calls i keep gettin, as most calls keep asking for the same person, i have complained to my net work provider and they suggested i registar my number with the tps, funny thing is when i went to do it. its already registered, so i shouldnt even be getting any unwanted calls, they even said my network provider as probabley sold the details of the person that had my number before me, and thats why i keep getting calls, which they have denied doing and said that they would never do something like that.

Just got back in to find a message on my BT Call Minder ... didn't sound like a text to voice service, just the tail end of what sounded like an elderly woman reading out a very large number.

This was followed by a recorded message with a lady telling me to ring 07953 966066 to pick up my message.

Very odd ...

We received a call to the landline at 1.49am which was a garbled text message.

i got a call from this number at abt 4.00 am ! .........left a garbled message on my answerphone....but woke us up

We keep getting blank text messages at random times (including the middle of the night) from 07914 561385, which ends by asking us to ring 07953 966066 to stop receiving these messages. I've just done this, so we'll see if it's effective or not. I's like to find out who the original number belongs to though!

This number rang my home number Saturday 16th June at 3.10 a.m. (yes in the morning) my wife thought something was wrong with one of the kids and nearly had a heart attack.  We had the same problem with the same number a couple of years ago and reported it to BT.  It was only luck I remembered the last 4 digits and didn't reply, at the time it was a scam and if you rang the number back it cost something stupid like £125 - so watch your phone bill!

Not a scam?  So this one person has sent incorrect texts to hundreds of people...and its not a scam.  Either you are very dim or you are in on the scam

Just for everyone getting worried, relax a bit, I have received calls from this number a few times and it's always when my mother or sister accidentally sends a text message to my landline before actually sending to my mobile.
The reason the messages never make any sense at least where messages from my sister is concerned is because she uses text language (ru=are you, ne=any, tomoz=tomorrow etc...).
All it is is someone you know has accidentally texted your landline instead of your mobile.

It only works if you pick up when it rings, I've never had to call it back so I don't know what it does then.

I just recieved a call from the above mentioned number...picked up the phone, line was just dead.

Checked my mobile for the number in memory...not there...checked here, and just as i realised it was a scam, i got another call off them, but this time saying i had to call the number back to recieve my text message. How weird. Almost as if they made a check up call forst to see if my number existed, and then sent the 'please reply to get you 'blank' text messsage'

Just had a call from this number saying I had a text message from mobile no. 07947-5595207.  The message was, "Did you get the shoes?".  I don't recognise the mobile number (and it seems to have one too many digits) but it's freaked me out as I had misplaced my dancing shoes last week.
