2015 and i am still getting them

It is up to you to use google or your own telecom provider's website to stop or manage these text-to-voice calls coming to your phone.
You could also go back to 2008 on this very thread to find the occasional post (among the rubbish posts) that tells you the freephone number needed to do likewise.

Why am I repeatedly receiving calls which simply ask that I call 07953 966 066.

This is the T-Mobile and Virgin text message to landline number. I've set my call blocker to reject it because I can never understand auto-spoken SMS messages - they're unintelligible and a waste of my time. BT have a similar system, which you can opt out of (as I did) by calling 08005875252.

I imagine you can opt out of the T-Mobile system too but I can't be bothered to find out. I'd rather just block it because, if someone is stupid enough to send an SMS to my landline then I'd rather not hear what they have to say. :-)

Here's s.o. who never, ever, dialled a wrong number by mistake or picked "home" from their contacts instead of "mobile" for their mate... wow!

Really annoying pre-recorded text message asking me to phone another mobile number. I looked up caller's number on Internet and read of the problems other people were experiencing. This type of call should be banned.

Just received a call from this number. Was an automated voice that told me a number and then read out a message. Turns out my brother had text my landline instead of my mobile by accident and the voice read out his text and number.

Not sure why people are getting spam/nuisance calls.

I had a missed call from this number on my work phone so I called it back and it said I had a message.  I listened to the message and it was from my husbands mobile number.  What's going on?

Call from 07953966066 saying there was a text message from 07956208436 asking me to call them because they had run out of credit.  Clearly a spam call.

Could be my furtive imagination but is "079 etc" the mobile version of UK's "0843" expensive call-back option or "020 3" etc "looks like central London" landline (but isn't!!) - AND IN PRACTICE IS SCUMSTERS PREFERRED NUMBER-OF-CHOICE?? Be aware & THINK before you answer or return ANY call. (On this Forum, type 079 into search option, then toward bottom of result/search, there's a quick-link to ALL recent posts with e.g 079 as prefix, ditto 084/020 ... shall one say "Enlightening"?)

I received a txt from the number that says "Your txt message has been delivered to 01772-752345.
I hadnt sent a txt to either number so guess its some sort of scam

Just had a call from 07953 966066 - says there's a msg from another mobile. I had to double check as the msg said "mum in trouble"

That is so ******* out of order. How can they get away with that

calls from this number at midnight saturday and again at 7am sunday morning

Call from 07953 966066 at 7.25 this morning, my wife answered and there was an odd message about someone stopping tonight.

Getting phone call 1:30 am  I've 5 kids it's beyond a joke now
