This number calls at 2-00am but nobody answers  when i pick up

Called my mobile, didn't answer as not a number I know. Obviously another cold calling scam! When are these going to STOP!!!!

I received a text on my mobile saying that it was from EE & that they had been unable to send my text to 01392353101 (which I hadn't) I googled the number to find that it was from  a company who pester you re PPI claims. I have ignored it because it clearly wasn't from EE as the number was from 07953966066. I don't know how to stop these annoying calls & texts. Any answers?

Picked up landline without speaking. Got a spoken text message asking if I had problems with my email... Put phone down.

just got a call from this number with a 1 sec msg I could not understand, obviously i'm not gonna ring it back, i'm not stupid, not many ppl I give my number to, just utilities, job applications etc

false? I think if ppl have a problem with a phone call they will report it and not waste time falsly reporting, if so many ppl are reporting, says to me its not false or we are all trolls

Cutting through the gibberish you have written to what i think you are trying to say, MrB is, in fact, correct.  If someone sends a text to your landline ( it can happen by accident if the two numbers are next to each other) thenthe landline cannot accept it.  This service has been set up to try and help people by translating the message into speech and delivering it. Some people on here have said that they have tried to listen to the message but could not understand it.  The reason for this that the translator cannot cope with txtspeek.  However, people can continue to ignore the facts and carry on posting just like you.

i just received a call to my landline with a computerised female voice said "5 years, hope to meet you again soon philipor"

3rd time this number has rang in last wk, first time they left a 1 sec msg, no idea what it said, 2nd time, picked up phone, no sound on other end, today I just left it, I don't tend to pick up phone if I don't recognise number as I have an history of what i'm assuming are spam or scams ringing me so if I don't know number i'll check it online and if it comes up on a site like this I just ignore it, if its something important they can email or write to me if they know my email or home address, other than  that it won't be important as anyone who needs to contact me like job centre or jobs I've applied to know all my info

well if its not a spam or scam they need to to seriously fix some kind of problem seeing as their so called service is not working properly, I've had a call 3 times from number and do u honestly think some is gonna make up a number to report as they have nowt better to do, are you serious? if anything u are making a false posting

Called at 6.30 sat morning - woke all the kids. Very angry.

This number calls at night and makes you feel worried and insecure, how can these people get away with this type of action, it should be traceable and they should be prosecuted.

I bought a phone that screens calls, usually when asked for identity, cold callers/scams hang up.  But not this number, it came through as an announced call, so I permitted it. It was a weird automated message that sounded like a text which was intended for a mobile, not a landline. I have since blocked it, but it shows them working their way around any obstacle

Got a text message on our landline which asked if this was the phone number of my husband.

call received at 5.30 a.m 20/12/16, woke me up but i did not answer it before it rang off, have an aged parent who has recently lost their wife so i was concerned and used 1471 and pressed 3 to call it back and got something about picking up messages?  In my sleepy state repeated the action about 3 times before I realised it could be a rubbish call, hope it didn't charge me and hope these Companies learn of the concern they cause people.

Had a message from this number on my BT landline from brother in law.it is a genuine service.but if you send a text to a landline you must use proper words not textspeak or it is gobbledegook.had to call the number to record it on my computer to decipher the message, not sure what the cost will be, he should have rung in the first place........Doh

This mobile number keeps calling my landline home phone number early hours in the morning.

Received call thanking us for gifts.  Thought it was my friend in slovenija, rang back - nothing found hard to disengage but after four mins managed to clear the line,  friend said not her.
