Almost got tricked into buying an alienware laptop for 320 pounds on Gumtree. Thank you everyone. She uses the same email helen75watson@gmail.com . She is apparently located in Milton Keynes. She should be stopped..

Helen Watson is now selling jacuzzi's Artic Spa in cheshire and east sussex this name should go on facebook and all the other names she uses!Thats if she is a she and not a he! wanted me to go to a paypoint £800 pounds later but I googled her name before!Thank god! Been to the police they can't do anything! Reported it to gumtree ad removed! There's no doubt umpteen other ads on there for all sorts of items and I feel so sorry for the people who get scammed! How can we stop her! Does anyone have any ideas!

I too have just been scammed by helen75 Watson thought I was buying a Quinny buzz for£130 I am 36 weeks pregnant and gutted I have lost the money just spent last hour making complaints to various companies I hope they can be caught!

Someone tried to pull this on me at the weekend - thankfully I checked it out before any money was lost.

The content of the emails I received was identical and the mobile number provided was the same but this time the persons name was Helen Watson.

If anyone gets one of these you should take the following action:
1)  Cease all contact with the con artist
2)  Report the attempted fraud to the police.  It takes between 5 & 10 minutes to file a report by calling Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
3)  Report the fake ad to the site it was posted on.  In my case it was Gumtree - they'll remove the ad and attempt to stop them from using the site in the future.
4)  Report the fake delivery confirmation email to the comany they're posing as.  For Parcel Force forward the email to suspiciousemail@parcelforce.com.
5)  Report the email address / profile used by the con artist as a fake.  If it's a gmail account you can do this by following the link provided at the bottom of on of their emails.

The more difficult everyone makes it for this these individuals to succeed the less likely they are to persevere.  
Spread the word.

just been rinsed for £200 by Helen, gonna hunt 'her' down...think she's based outside the uk. spoke to action fraud, bloke reckons almost 1000 people have been done now...absolutely gutted. gonna google everyone i buy from now. anyone else got any details?

Fraid it's still happening I was scammed out of £100 for a set of golf clubs by Helen Watson! Exactly the same as above.. If only I could get my hands on them!

Here's another that nearly caught me out - the parcelforce email alerted me as it is from post.com which apparently is a postal service in Canada.
'she' wanted £100 up front to release the fishtank for delivery.
Feel sorry for all those that got caught out by this one - this was first time I had been on Gumtree and won't be going back - not safe.

Gutted just got done! paid £100 for goods that never came! daylight robbery! I don't know how they can sleep at night! Can't wait for them to get caught! Don't do it people!

I thought about texting and emailing her lots of crap or any computer whizzes send her a virus?? Gumtree are just rubbish not even trying to stop her. She has used helen75watson@gmail.com on a lot of people by the looks of it and a lot of people have fallen for it. I was lucky I just don't part with cash unless I can see the items. I feel sorry for the women that have lost money buying prams for their babies. Awful awful person I hope karma kicks in at some stage.

Ive just been scammed by EMMA WATSON. I wanted a wardrobe for my disabled son to store all his special toys and coats and the [***] was selling a pine wardrobe for £50 i got caught in the scam mainly coz i never used parcel force before so i didnt know wot to expect. It was when i didnt recieve the item and rang parcel force and told me i was scammed. I am upset mostly because it was gonna be for my son. I hope she gets caught and ends up paying thousands bk to the goverment for fraud! Keeping my fingers crossed!

I tried to buy from gumtree, got all the same emails, smelt a rat and didnt get caught. i can understand how people do. i hope he/she/they rot.preying on decent people. police notified but i don't think they are that bothered.Gumtree know whats going on, they don't seem to care. So beware all.

Just got done for £180.00 for a Perception Sierra Kayak saying she was from Shropshire on Gumtree.
What I don't understand is why Actionfraud.police.uk have not caught this tw*t yet. They are clearly using the funds somewhere and a little leg work will give them some indication of how the money is being spent and there will be a trail to follow.

this scammer is called helen watson and my daughter in law has just been scammed for £200 for a corner sofa. we have pics of this [***]... and we think she lives around the hull area

Almost got scammed when trying to purchase corner sofa when 'she' went by the name Stacey Stone. Identical emails but got suspicious when her emails did not answer any of my direct questions. Thank goodness decent people are reporting this but they're still getting away with other folks hard-earned cash.

Also recieved a message from Helen Watson, selling a shabbychic table and bench set from stoke - on - trent. Rang parcel force to check it was legit to find out it is not. Spoke to a woman from parcel force who stated that thier fraud team are looking into it and if anyone has any further information they'd be happy for it.
It is so easy to fall for this scam, glad I saw these posts first. Thanks :)
