This number calls my mobile regularly but I don't know who they are and why. How can I stop it?

this number has called me asking if i been in an accident it's a scam in my eyes.

I had a call from this number 08000641087 15.31 pm 2 October 2014 I didn't answer it and I don't answer scam call's.

Just had a call from these people, said they were o2 and wanted me to give them my security details and date of birth. When i refused they they said they could not discuss further so i said great and cut them off. Worst bit is i am registerd with the telephone preference service

You all say this is from O2? Im not with O2 and im getting these calls about 5 times a day!

Continually getting calls from this number, I do not answer  0800 numbers and if I want a new contract with O2, I will seek out myself.
Pain in the rear end, get the message NOT interested.

When they ring answer the phone and say "I've disposed of the body as you asked now all we need to sort out is the payment drop" and hang up. Should make them think twice about calling again

Recommend that those of you with Android mobile phone install Truecaller from Google Play Store. That way Truecaller will block the calls of known scammers and you can add to the list. Works great for me! Sorry, don't know what is available for Apple or Windows phones but you could check your own store.

You may not have given your number to anyone but family/friends, but if you have submitted forms that include a company needing your number, they will just sell it on to other places.

Also, any apps on your mobile may read your phones details and forward your number to these cold calling companies.

You also realise if 02 ever ring it never comes up 02 and always 0800 some people are thick

ive got it now I wish they would stop pestering me and to leave me alone hope they give up soon

I have not given my number to anyone so I therefore assume Tescomobile gave it to LBM Direct Marketing who have been pestering me with nuisance calls

Getting calls 0800 064 1087

I just missed a call today from 0800 064 1087. I have had O2 pay as you go for at least 3 years, but never had a call from this number before. Few days ago I got one of their texts about their MyO2 website and how I can check remaining texts there, so I clicked on that link, which seemed legit. Maybe that's alerted them to my existence. Anyway having read this thread, I have now added it as a blocked number to my phone!
