this number is for teleshopping.

This company took £100 and another £1.60 from my credit card - I knew nothing about this transaction and certainly had not agreed to it. How did they get hold of my details?? Cannot get hold of them - they are thieves!!!!

They took two £1.60 from my mums bank account and this month they took 89.00 and 39.00. I spoke with an employee who stated they sent a discount card (which never arrived) and promised to send another - all crap and a con.

On returning from a recent holiday and checking my credit card bill POUND SAVER 08001077333 had taken £1.60.  I would never spend such a small amount on my credit card, using this card to purchase only tickets, etc, online.  If this fraud has been going on for so long why hasn't it been stopped?

I totally understand I am on the phone to the bank because this company has taken 1.60 and then 99.95 out of my account.  
As far as I can gather the name of the company on the number 08001077333 is called Pound Saver and they send you out discounts etcs.  I recieved information on them when I bought a group of rnb cds (midnight soul or something) from one of those shopping adverts on early in the morning quite a while back.  
I vaguely remember them talking about a free trial in which you get a lot of discounted things, when I recieved the vouchers I cancelled it as they were not that good anyway but it would seem that they still took the money out anyway.
I am calling them again tomorrow and I will be writing an official complaint.  These scroungers should be named and shamed.

how do you get the money back or stop them??/  i called and they want my credit card number to check thier database!!!  no chance!!! robbing b*****ds

The bloody theif company took two payments £1.60 and £99.95 from may account with 08001077333 reference. When I called at that number and looks like 1 guy own that company as I could not hear any other voice over there. when asked him why you took payment from my card without my knowlege, he asked my details, like name, address and card number and I provide the details then he said that quite a while ago you bought some thing from TV shopping channel. I said yes if I remember about 1 year ago he said he got information from that channel and sent me some saving information pack of 30 days trial which I never ever received. when I said you ripped off many people so please refund my money otherwise I am gonna tell my bank that you took this payment fradgenly and also tell the watch dog and trading standard. Then he said he will send me information pack and if I don't like it then he refund the money. I said I do not want any information pack n I just want my money back, n he trying to make excuses that its company policy that you get information pack n if you do not like then you cancel the membership. I said no and I am going to tell watch dog then he put me on hold and get away.

So guys this company is scam and best way to shut this scam is to write to the bbc watch dog at http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/gotastory/. So if we all tell them our story , they will investigate it and will shut down this company.

So finally I went to my bank told the whole situation, they said fraud department will call you and you will get your money back in two weeks. I hope this will give you a bit help. So do not forget to write to bbc watch dog and wish you good luck.

I have been taken money account from this number too. and like u Zara i only tv shopped years ago and only once. My card expires this month I have a feeling they took the money out just about when it expired again. Can I ask did u card expire around the same time the money was taken out??

I've just reported to the bank and they mentioned Poundsaver is part of JP Morgan....hmmm aren't they a huge investment company?????Anyways I hope i get my money back!!

THEY HAVE ALSO TAKEN £89.95 FROM MY ACCOUNT . I BOUGHT SOME GOODS ON A TV SITE AND THEY ASKED ME IF I WANTED A BOOK OF VOUCHERS AND IF I THOUGHT THEY WERE OK I HAD TOM PAY WITHIN 28 DAYS. THE VOUCHERS NEVER ARRIVED. I WROTE TO THE TV COMPANY TELLING THEM THE VOUCHERS HAD NOT ARRIVED AND INFORMING THEM THAT I DID NOT WANT TO PAY ANYTHING BUT NEVER HEARD FROM THEM . I HAVE NOTIFIED MY BANK AND AM NOW LODGING A COMPLAINT WITH THE POLICE FOR FRAUD. I SUGGEST EVERYONE ELSE DOES THE SAME.

Pitchwell tv put their customers forward for this even if they say they dont want it.

My partner bought a eco streamer off the shopping channel and they asked her if she wanted any discount cards with the purchase and she said no. Anyways 2 months later i have had £89.95 taken from my bank account without me knowing for these discount cards which we have not recieved and didnt want. So we have phoned the shopping channel company and kicked off cos they should not been allowed to give out our details and they didnt do anything to help us and tried to pass us off to this poundsaver club which are closed at the moment. So i have been onto the bank and they promise to sort it out.

Its shocking that u cant even give out your card details to a large company without been ripped off, This bloody world gets worse and worse every year

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OF A SHOPPING CHANNEL!!!!ESPECIALLY PITCH TV. They pass on your card details to this "Pound Saver" company even if you have declined their offer of discounts, Holiday offer deal...etc and then abount a month later HELP themselves from your account, the normal amount they STEAL is £89.95. Get onto your bank ,as they CAN get it back.....

I too had same problem. I never accept free stuff over the counter let alone over the phone. Today  I noticed that my card was debited by £89.95 without my knowledge. I am so angry at this company called Pitch TV . it should have been called pintch TV instead. I have sent them an email as well as that fraudster in NI and Watchdog. let us all make a fuss about this fraud activity.

I,to have been riped off for 89.95 from pound saver,plus 39.99 from someone called clasic living. as i have just received my statement i will be reporting this to my bank in the morning. hopeing they can help me ????

Just seen £89.95 taken from my account, by Poundsaver, after buying an eco steam cleaner from Pitch. Rang my bank straight away to report the fraud. They are ringing me back tomorrow, but when they do I will be asking for an immediate refund under the debit card guarantee. I did not give Poundsaver my details, so am covered by the bank's guarantee. I have stopped the card as well, after reading these forums. Poundsaver should have their authority to take card payments revoked! Will be reporting this to the police, and trading standards in the next few days.  Good luck everyone.  Don't forget, trading standards respond when they get a "volume" of complaints about the same company.

Have just been checking my bank and this company has taken £1.60 and £99.95 from my account. have phoned my bank to be told to report it to my branch in the morning to see about getting my money back.Under no circumstances should anyone be allowed to give your details to anyone else without your permission especially a shopping channel, I think they should be looked into as well for doing so to people.

The same thing has happened to my mum. She ordered a steamer from Pitch Tv about 1-2 months ago and when she looked today at her Capital one statement she has seen that a company called Poundsaver has taken £89.95 from her account.  This is absoloutly discusting.  I am very happy that i found this website otherwise we would never have know what this company was.  I have already wrote in to Watchdog after reading through these comments and hope they can do something about it.  Please can anyone who this happens to write to Watchdog so they can hopefully look into this scamming company.  Would not want this to happen to any more people.

when u buy a product from a number of tv shopping channels at the end of the call u will be offered a 30 free trial to poundsaver if u accept then u give a password to activate the trial u accept the t&c of the trial which is if u do not make a call to cancel within the 30 day trial at the end u will be upgraded and the membership fee of £89.95 will be charged how is that a scam???????. I have been a member for 4 years now and have saved hundreds of pounds so far i use it foe my shoppong and holidays abroad
