I think that if this happened to "brice" it would have been noticed as we are situated in a busy area, beside a carraige way that is constantly busy. we also have cctv and if this was a ligitimate incident im sure he or she would have contacted police, and im sure it would have been investigated (which hasnt happened)  also, brice mentioned a 135 canc fee, i am 100% certain, if he or she rang our cust servs dept that they would not have been told this, we dont charge canc fees, and im sure if any one else here hasn called, they would not be told any thing of this nature either. i think people need to understand that some things that may be posted may be of an untrue nature. and maybe you should try calling our cust services dept and let us help you, instead of listening to idol gossip, as said before, we are always more than happy to help.... please note comment from doug r who called us, found us helpful, and recieved a refund.

Thank you so much for this information.  Poundsaver took £1.60 out of our account in June last year, followed by £89.95 in July.  I advised my bank (Santander) and had to take out a dispute but they replied that it was a recurrent transaction and it could not be refunded.  I then read all these messages and I think I am going to follow the advice given by Steve.  Will let everyone know progress.

I forgot to mention that they again took out £1.60 in June this year followed by another £99.95 on Friday last week.  This time I am not going to take this lightly!  Now I am going to get the last year's amount back too!!!

My wife and I have also had the same scam happen to
us . Pound saver blame Pitch TV for not doing the job right . What you have to
ask is , who got your money. The answer is quite simple.(pound saver ) did , so therefore who is the crook . It's the company that gets the money.
What we need to do is close them down. Pitch TV and Pound saver,
the question is how. Well the answer is simple,
the more people who know about this SCAM the beter.
We need to get active and set up a YouTube blog about them.
Millions of people look at YouTube each day.
So as people get to know about this SCAM and word gets out they will be out of business.
A prison sentence for the director would no dought be a lot beter , but I think putting them out of business should be good enough.
Any ideas on this matter would be a great help.
You must remember if we all stand together we can beat them
hope to hear from you all
    . Regards E(MSA)

Just as a matter of interest. It's important to note just how they go about getting hold of your hard earned money,
First PoundSaver/Piichwell TV will take £1.60 off your account , that's just to make sure your account is active and to
see if you notice the debit.
You like most people won't bother about a small amount, so
you will let it ride , but saying that , you most proberly would not even have noticed the small amount.
The next month a larger amount which normally starts as £89.95 the first year will be taken. Yes I know what you are thinking "PoundSaver/Pitchwell TV  "do it for as many years as they can get away with"
What happens next is "you notice £89.95 has gone off your bank statement without your approval , so you contact the bank , and the bank tell you there is nothing they can do because it is a regular payment. And that is because (Pound Saver/ Pitchwell TV) first took the £1.60 to make sure account was active . Pound Saver /Pitchwell TV does NOT GIVE YOU ANYTHING FOR YOUR MONEY .
THIS SCAM WILL CARRY ON AND ON until someone puts a stop to it , they are making 100% pure profit on the shear THEFT of our money.
Help us to put a stop to it  NOW !!

chris, you were being asked for ure credit card number so ur details could be found on our system so you could get ur money refunded . did the thought that we must already have ur details, because the money was taken out in the first place not pass through ur stupid brain. DUH

errol, as you have obviously already been told, pitch tv passes peoples details over to pound saver. that is fraud, they are supposed to promote the pound saver savings club, they have targets to meet reguardin this, therefore they pass them over weither or not u agree to it. i think you need to understand what fraud is! have pound saver refunded your money or not? they can only refund the last payment that was taken.  for anything else that has been taken all u do is write a letter to them and they refund anything that previously had been taken out of your account. pitch tv r in the wrong, they are the ones who are passin ur details around. have you even thought about that. a little thought and civility goes a long way my south african friend

eroll, who in their right mind would " let it ride " if some1 was able to take money out of their account, br it £1.60 or £100. the £1.60 gets taken for post and packaging of your new pack by the first point of contact. i take it from ure dribble that it was pitch tv..... a little thought

This happened to you August last year! It has just happened to me this month on my latest Bank Statement. 99.95 + i.60, but the lower amount comes first and when that happens they then go for a figure UNDER £100 before the Banks and Credit Companies move on them. It's been going on so long yet the banks do nothing to protect us. My order has lost £44 THOUSAND and its supposed to have been an inside job

all the same stuff is happening to me right now, the banks fraud team are complete aware of the company and are experiencing lots of problems.....best option Close the bank account that the card details are contected too, the debit is classed as continuous, it will transfer from card to card to card and the account holder has no right to stop it, it can only be stopped by Pound Saver, closing the account means no more funds can leave.

No. You couldn't be more wrong.

We deal with seperate tv shopping channel companys that offer the club on our behalf when you call to buy something.
The company that charges you £1.60 in the first instance does so to cover postage of a 'poundsaver' pack. It isn't even applied by us, never mind your fears of it being to "make sure your account is active."

This cannot be applied without your concent over the phone to the company. If you are adament in saying otherwise, it is then a miss-sell by the company in question, and prehaps you should contact them to listen to a recording of the call or prehaps trading standards. It boils down to individual agent negligence, it isn't a scam. You will find 99% of you agreed to take it, but prehaps wern't listening to a lengthy sales pitch and simply said 'yes,' to get the agent off the phone. The remaining 1% being an educated estimate for agent negligence.

It is not a scam, most of you appear simply ill-informed, and assume missing money spells a scam. Not exactly suprised in todays society. As I have posted many times, please contact us on the telephone previously provided and I or any agent here will happily cover any of this over the phone.
For those of you that don't have it, it is 0800 107 7333.

Instead of posting new comments calling our company a scam, PLEASE, read over my previous comments, they contain all of the CORRECT information, and you can find answers to any doubts you may have detailed on them.

    Thanks,

    James (customer services)
