    I reported a transaction on my currant account from classic living a few mths ago, nationwide refunded me and entered into a investigation, yesterday I got my bank statement , yep encore pound saver took 2 payments £1.60 plus £99.95, so I was straight on the phone to nationwide , waiting to hear from there fraud department , but they are the same conning b*****ds, this happens at least twice a yr to me, always get my money back, that's not the point, for every £100.000.000, they will likely keep £10.000.00, so until the banks work out a way to pretect us 100%, these b*****ds will keep doing it,

    I've just notice the same thing from both Classic Living and Pound Saver.  I'm just on my way to the bank.  Not how I wanted to spend my day off.

    classic living con artists dealt with [***] friendly telephone operators with them rang them up recently and ordered an aah bra then i hung up immeadiately before i was asked for id ie bank card details

    i have just found out about this scam as i went to my atm after using tv company to order an item
    using the telephone number advertised on the tv, gems tv channel
    i looked at my account and contacted my bank
    i think someone taking details for the order is passing details to poundsaver .co.uk i have found 4 deductions taken illegally from my account 1.60,and 49.50,1.60,and 99.99,to date  in there name none of which was authorized my myself directly or indirectly so therefore it is fraud i have just found out about this scam and cant advise further
    and something going on smells fishy so beware especially if you have bought something from  the tv lately contact your bank and check your accounts they should close the tv channel till they find out what is going on i believe the same thing is happening through other ways after you purchase something the fact is someone is passing this information on to poundsaver who is using your bank details and deducting payments from your account and unless you see this you dont know

    A bit of advice to anyone who's thinking of making a purchase from the tv ad vestify  for maybe some CDs which sound very good as a gift or to keep.  Be aware that if you do then be prepared to have at least £100 to be taken out of the account around 11 months later,!   It's not a crime what this company is doing , if that we're the case they would have been taken out before now, .    What they ask when a order is being placed is "are you willing to accept promotions in the future " by agreeing  the customer is agreeing to membership at a cost however the cost is never mentioned by the salesperson. This fee will be in the form of a £1.60 followed by £89.00 or £99.00 . However if any body sorry I mean when people are caught all they have to do is contact them TROUGH their bank and request the amount is placed back in the account it was taken from ASAP to which they will agree. This is where they don't break any law. However the people who don't notice the deductions vestify are quids in.   The best advice I can give to anybody is quite simple really NEVER make the silly mistake of ever making that bad call to any tv ad. Because if you do in time you WILL regret it ...........

    Same thing as happened to me . I can't believe that this company lv8 pound saver as taken £99.95 out of my bank account plus £1.60 . I have been intouch on a number off times and each time they promise to refund me surprise surprise i am still waiting . SCAM ......

    iv just found on my visa statement that pound saver has taken £1.60 and another £99.95 from my account who are these F-----ing people and how are they being allowed to get away with this.

    If you watch tv on a Sunday morning around 8 you will see this same company still advertising CDs         We got in touch with pound saver and demanded the money be placed back in the account it was stolen from to which they said it will be within 10 days    It was so my advice would be is to do the same.         M&e

    this is the little problem people like me make when purchasing a product over the tv i gave zestify tv my debit card number when asked for it  and they overcharged it  a couple of months later another thief namely classic living stole  one sixty from my account and then a couple of weeks later stole forty nine ninety five i rang them up and asked who gave you people authority to take money from my account they then said i would be refunded which i was  in ten days

    Same problem as everyone else, I got no joy from santander even though they alerted me via a security messages so I rang classic living who is the parent co. 08000962926 who said the money will be refunded. I have no doubt they will but it's the high percentage of people who just right it off who this company exploits. The bank knew but did not assist.Santander, rubbish.Hope this helps.

    I,ve just checked my account. The same as you, £1.60 & £99.95 the number was different though, [ 08000962925 ]. Never called it !! Phoned my bank immediately and I,ll be refunded by midnight this evening. Have too wait on a new debit card though. My bank were very helpful and will contact me when their investigation is complete.
