I have two transactions on my credit card £1.60 & £99.99 I have no idea what this is for especially as the credit card although active, has not been used in over a year. I have tried to contact them but only get a message saying their offices are closed. Who are these people? and how did they obtain my details. They jolly well better be under investigation, they are nothing but thieves. I want my money back and by God one way or another I had better get it.

I have had two payments from my account as well.  I have not given permission for these payments, what happened is I bought something from ideal world and then somehow my card details were  obtained by Poundsaver.
I have notified the Fraud Squad and changed my card with the bank so they cannot get any more money from me.

Im struggling with the same thing but i now cant get through to classic living or pound saver no number work anymore they all all incorrcect dunno what to do now

hi j they did the same to me,they went into my bank on the 19 of july 89 95 without my permission,after 6 phone calls i only got 35 95 back from them ,i have been overdrawen from this happend i am so angery how can they get away with this i am paying back 5 a day back to the bank because of them they said they would refund the money but i am still waiting and every day i wait i am getting more into trouble with the bank.

what a load of rubbish it is  scam i ordered cd 39 99 which was taken out of my accout also another 89 99 which i didnt authorised

this company pound saver is taking money out of people accounts without authorization we cant all wrong

poundsaver, classic living uk, classic living ireland, smart living uk are all linked to Encore Card Marketing Ireland Limited. if you look at the ph no there all the same. you could be members of all of these at the same time and the wont tell you. if you call to cancel poundsaver the wont tell you that you are a member of classic living unless you mention it. i actually called back and spoke to the same person. when i asked why she didnt mention classic living she said he didnt see it on the screen ! i never agreed to any trial. its a scam ! also they will only refund you the charges you mention. so you could have been a member of all this for a couple of years and not know. check your statements people! there could be thousands of people out there funding these thieves and not realising it. and get this, when you call that customer services number you dont actually get through to Encore Card Marketing Ireland Limited . my sons girlfriend works another call centre called callpageboy. heres there website http://www.callpageboy.ie/ . they answer all the calls for Encore Card Marketing Ireland Limited. so not only are they ripping us off but they are paying someone else to clean up the mess !

This has been going on for several years now .. why haven't the authorities dealt with it?
My mother  (96 years old) had £1.60 and £99.95 taken from her account on 4th July 2011.
bank has been informed and their fraud office is dealing with it.
These people ought to be in court,   is it because their from Ireland that nothing has been done?
are they beyond the jurisdiction of the British courts ???.

The one thing to learn form all this is ... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE SHOPPING CHANNELS.

I received my credit card statement with a charge of £1.60 stating POUND SAVER 08001077333. I phoned the credit card company asking where did it come from as we did not buy or subscribe to this. The company could not trace where it was and also made a call to this number but without luck. Can you help.

This has been going on with me for 3 years now! I recieved their initial info pack stating how they would provide discounts etc, but wasn't interested so contacted them within the 30 days ands was told no money would leave my account. I had to contact them again last year when £99.99 came out of my bank account and they apparemtly refunded the money, but I never saw it go back in to my account and now it has happened again. If they have taken me off their database, How can they keep getting away wth it. It doesn't even show up on my bank history as a standing order either so can't even cancel the payment myself. Think I'm just gonna have to let my bank try and deal with this one now. 3 years is taking it a bit too far!!

We purchased a micro razor that was advertised on TV from BNL. Our bank statement arrived yesterday.  Pound Saver had taken out £89.95 plus 2 lots of £1.60.  Classic Living had taken out £39.50. When we phoned Pound Saver they said it was for a membership and that we should phone BNL.  We couldn't get through to them so sent emails.  As yet we haven't heard anything and we know nothing about any membership. As my husband is registered blind I phoned our banks fraud department and they are sorting it out.  Also we have cancelled our debit cards. When I went on Classic Livings website Pound Saver was on there.

Like everyone above, i have just become a been a victim of this fraud, and cant believe it has been going on for so long without intervention and them being brought to justice.
Checking my account today found there had been two withdrawel's of 89.95 and 39,95 witihn the last 3 days. I immediately contacted my bank as i thought  there was fraudulent activity on my account, only to be told that it was related to a subscription i must have signed up to through a shopping channel or internet shopping!
The only purchase i have recently made was from Thane products and at no time have i ever agreed to a subscription in exchange for vouchers!
Contacting them I was told that Poundsaver and Clasic living are sister companies affiliated with Thane products and my details including my account information has been passed to them and without notice or my authority, it has resulted in these fraudulent withdrawels; to add to the frustration both companies are closed over the weekend.
Since discovering this about them i have informed my bank, that i have at no time authorised payments to either of these companies and expect them to investigate, and will follow this up on Monday morning with a call to both companies followed by a complaint to Trading Standards, highlighting the comments on this page and numerous other websites. The company that gave my details out was IDEAL WORLD. WHen i telephoned Poundsaver i was told that my money would be refunded within 5 - 10 days. I shall wait and see.

I to have been in touch with poundsaver and told the same.....also read on another web page that they tell you they will make payment and then it doesnt happen!!!
Currently speaking with my bank (Halifax) who have raised a dispute as they don't see it as FRAUD at this time.....we have to wait and see if Poundsaver reimburse the moeny!  
Plan to report this to Trading Standards and the Police, also looking into who regulates these Shopping Channels and thier practice.
Its shocking that this has been going on for so long and nothing being done about it.

My statement shows pound saver £1.60 0800 107 7333 and Classic Living £1.60 0200 0962926 both on the same day and a £99.99 5 days later!!!!
Last month my friend gave me the money and asked me to order a steam cleaner off the shopping channel Bid TV and they have illegially saved my visa details and dipping in to my account whenever they feel like it.

Yes! Thieves!!!! taking money out of ones account without permission- ALL be careful when you see Poundsaver on your statements!
