Just to clarify. I phoned the number 08001077333 and spoke very nicely(thankfully had the weekend to calm down) to a lovely girl called Rose. She actually told me it was from a purchase in 2010 and had actually had a payment taken out last year too that I had completely missed!! She immediately cancelled my subscription and offered to refund BOTH amounts straight away. As yet I have to see the refund come through but I have no anxieties that it will not happen. I actually think it's wrong how it all happens but it is a ligitimate company and I am sure they get their fair share of irrate customers (as would I have been if I had spoke to someone on Saturday!!). I have learned a valuable lesson from all this and no more teleshopping for me!!!!

Today(09/01/12)  I received a statement from Barclaycard(on a card that I had cancelled in October) showing a debit of £99.95 from Poundsaver.co.uk - t/no. 08001077333. I contacted Barclay card and raised a dispute. I am awaiting the paperwork. What a bunch of thieving b**t**ds. I don't have the faintest idea how they got my card details. But I will get this money back from Barclaycard. I am amazed that with so many people being scammed that the Banks and Credit cards do not put a block on this company's dealings

The same thing happened to my mum, she had bought something from a shopping channel and they had sold on her details quite disgusting really you would like to think your details should be kept secure. Luckily we went down to Barclays Bank and they helped her sort it out and this resulted in the company agreeing to refund the money so thankyou to the bank hope everyone can stop this company before things get out of hand!

I have just typed into Google Search 'bnl media taken money out of your account' and was absolutely amazed to see how many people have posted about this scam.

I noticed two amounts appear on my bank statement, £1.60 and £49.95, detailed as CLASSIC LIVING CD.  I had no idea what this was for and queried it with my bank, Halifax.  The money came out on 3 January but  Halifax advised that it was for a transaction I had made on the phone or over the internet on 1 January.  I was positive that I had not spent this so told Halifax it was suspcious.  They gave me a telephone number (08450602450) which I called and they never answered.  Today I called Halifax again and asked to be put through to the Fraud Investigation Department and they looked into the name CLASSIC LIVING and gave me a different number to call (08001077333) which I called and did get an answer on.  It turns out that when I made a purchase of a ROCK'N'ROLL CD in February with BNL, they passed my details on and signed me up to a membership.  I told the lady on the phone that I had never agreed to a membership and she began to explain that I would have been advised about free vouchers and an annual membership to continue receiving these vouchers.  I do recall being offered free vouchers, which I didn't actually ever receive, but at no point did I agree to an annual membership or receive any form of communication in follow-up to this phonecall... the money coming out of my account is the first I have heard of it.  This is with out doubt a fraudulant company and I am just shocked they have been able to scam so many people and are still in operation today!!!

Recently ordered items fom Pitch TV on the net, having done so previously with no problem.  However, being aware of all these complaints I used their "Contact Us" facility to inform them that I had seen these posts and asked them to confirm that I had not signed up for anything.  I received an e-mail confirming that I had not signed up to "The Money Club".  However, this morning I received a telephone call from Pitch TV on 01473 398380 saying they wished to make me aware of "special offers".  I pointed out that a) I had not given my 'phone number when I ordered and b) I was aware of complaints regarding unauthorised deductions from people's bank accounts. She was not too pleased and said they didn't do that, but she would ensure that I was not contacted again.  I just wonder how many people on here have received this "special offer" 'phone call and this is how they have been caught?

Adding another name to what must be a huge number of victims now. My father has recently been charged for £1.60 and £99.95 by credit card without receiving product nor services from a company that bill as pound saver. The first charge in 2011 was for £1.60 by both classic living and pound saver, then the next month a 39.95 charge by classic living and an 89.95 charge by pound saver and now this year a 1.60 and a 99.95 charge by pound saver. Unfortunately this charge was overlooked last year but I will be chasing these vultures to recover these monies.
