went to my bank who gave me a number to call them on, strangely enough this number has been disconnected.. i am so angry - Paul| 2 repliesLooks like 0800107333 is now their membership line. Called them and got a promise of a full refund. If you get no joy there, Trading Standards have a helpline on 08454 040506.
- Jimbo replies to Paul| 1 replyTried ringing 0800107333 but get the message "number not recognised", also the number on my credit card statement 0870 160 2513 also gives the same message.
Waiting for a form from the credit card company to dispute the charges of £1.60 and £99.95.
Also realised that I had received info from "Classic Living" and they were going top charge £39.95 plus admin fee of £1.60 if I didn't cancel. Fortunately they had given me a valid 0800 number for customer service and I was able to cancel this one. - northerngirl replies to Jimbowhen i checked my account £89.95 had been withdrawn by pound saver. i phoned my bank

- Lynsay replies to NikkiI tried calling and got no answer. It IS INDEED a scam as I have not purchased anything for the price of £89.95. who are you to tell people to get a life and grow up. You are not the one who has been left £89.95 short the week before Christmas. Who do you think you are?????????
- ScammedMoney had been taken out our account for 3 years and we only noticed this year.
The banks fraud department was contacted but because it was to our name, they took the refund back. We phoned PoundSaver who, after trying to convince us to stay with them (!) said they would refund. After more than 10 days, there is still no money in our bank account.
When we phoned again, they said the money had been refunded (even though we checked with the bank and there is no record of it at all) and said they'd need to speak to their head office in the US. Looks like we've got quite a fight on our hands to get this money back.
Good luck to any one else trying to reclaim it. Make sure you check your bank accounts as it may have been over a number of years. Ours came after ordering from Ideal World.- Caller: Poundsaver
- ScammedJust an update on the previous post, Poundsaver never phoned back on Monday. Phoned again and this guy told us the US would not need to be contacted and no refund had been given so we now have to wait a further 10-15 working days for it to be repaid.
So they've already lied about the refund, hadn't contacted the head office and could be fobbing us off again being told they've refunded.- Caller: Poundsaver
- Jamal replies to jthe same thing and we reported to the bank
- sandra| 1 replyWho and what are as you've taken money out of my account????
- john potter| 1 replyCould you tell me who you are as you've taken money out of my account.... Why?
- Nan replies to sandraRead the other posts on here and you will find out who it is. Whocallsme is just a site to report unknown, unwanted or scam numbers, it cannot help you. Only the people who post on here may be able to do so by having info on who the caller is.

- BobThis happened to me when I ordered CDs from Zestify.TV. I got a call from a call centre in Bangor, turns out the call centre is called Mango Direct Marketing LTD. I said I was not interested in taken up the offer. When I called poundsaver they were very helpful but they give me a password as my place of birth as Glasgow, this was not my place of Birth, thats were I live now. How can these people get away with this.

- Di replies to Nick| 4 repliesHi Nick
My husband has had 2 lots of £99.99 taken from his account but his bank, HSBC, say that they are unable to get this back for us.
Can you tell me how your bank managed to do this - that's if they did.
Thanks - Nan replies to Di| 2 repliesHave you read the post from "Northerngirl" above? She seems to have had some success by ringing the company concerned. It might be worth a try. Isn't it funny how banks seem to make up their own rules about refunding money? Some, mine included, are very good, others are rubbish.
- Brenda Middleton replies to DiI have just had 2 amounts takiing from my account 1 for £1.60 and another for £99.95i contacted my bank who said wait for my statement to come then contact the fraud department.
- ItookonJMLandwon replies to lamb| 1 replyHi, just to let people know, a transaction for JML Rocket VIP savings club appeared on our statement months after we bought from them, apparently we had to return a package within 30 days or pay the annual fee. We phoned them to cancel but they kept fobbing us off. I checked their website for terms and conditions and contacted them to point out that it says to phone and cancel and our phonebill proves that we did that, I made them listen to the calls and have now had a full refund. By contacting them by email you have electronic proof of contact to take to your credit card company if need be but I didn't need to go that far.
I think it's shocking that they can legally do this, but keep pursuing a refund and don't give up!
Good luck everyone, hope you all get your money back x - Debra replies to ItookonJMLandwonI can not believe they are allowed to get away with it. I am almost sure I cancelled as when the vouchers came they were not what I would use. My bank-Yorkshire Bank have been absolutely rubbish saying it was a transaction I must have agreed to so they wont refund me. I am a single mother of 4 that just wanted to get fit using some dvd's last year and then now straight after Christmas when I have no money Pound Saver have been able to take the last bit of money I had for shopping for my children before I get paid at the end of next week. I am heartbroken about this.
