this number from Braclays Bank keeps ringing me.

called landline defo barclays called it back and thats wat it sais

ive received sevral calls over the last two weeks from this number, i had one voice mail from it and theres was nothing, no message but the receiver going down.
i havent registered my phone number to any third party.

I called it back and got myself taken off the barclays marketing list.
easy as answering a couple of questions into an answering machine

I got it too. I'm with barclays but not orange...

Got a call from this number today asking to speak to a name which has never been associated with the house or landline.
When I said they had the wrong number they were polite, apologised and hung up. Will wait to see if it happens again.
No connection with orange - tangential with Barclays so not sure why it's on a list.
They didn't say who they were but from the above I'm guessing it is Barclays.

Ok - so it's definitely Barclays - but what's really weird is that I've been in Switzerland for the past two weeks and they have called my mobile almost evry day - but the number registers as a Swiss 0800 number (ie, 0041 800 etc). Soon as I got back today, got called again, but from the usual UK 0800 number. They, or vodafone, must have some weird deal with switzerland, or each other, which makes it a local number for whatever country you're in!

Just call 08000831856 follow instructions and the call stop.

I have got 4 calls today, one call was left with a voice message, which is very difficult hear. So its a tricky call, I am not going to answer it. hihi

They have been calling me 3 times a day at least for the last week. It's very frustrating as don't want to pick up if it's going to cost me!

Hmmmmm, I too have had this number ring me (funily enough it appeared as soon as I entered a ITV competition on the net which required my number), we all know that its a scheme, and everyone believes its coming from barclays. If thats the case then its safe to say that they are trying their best to crawl out of this "credit crunch", but the question is, how to stop it....

they have been calling me as well and it annoys the crap out of me.
the funny thing is, im not with barclays nor am i with orange.
i noticed some people who are with tmobile get calls from them as well but im not even with tmobile, im with voda!
i only picked the call twice and decided to search on google to know whats up.
theyre on my reject list now.

Hi Folks

Yup they been calling me 3 or 4 times a day for about a fortnight.  My mobile is a company one and Vodafone. I knew it was suspect as I never in years get numbers like that on my work phone.  Didn't answer a single call and they never left a message.  I guessed if it was urgent they would have left a message!  Think the calls have stopped now, not had one now for over 24hrs.
