I also have accounts with barclays and a contract with orange, seems barclays is involved but is it something to do with orange also?

I JUST RECIVE A CALL TONAITE THEY SAD THAT ARE FROM BARCLAYS  PERSONAL POLICE COVER AND WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT I WILL GO TOMOROW TO THE BANK THE CLOSE, I DONT UNDESTAND HOW THEY FIND MY ADRESS AND THEY NOW MY NAME .

I AV NO IDEA WHO D CALLER IS BECAUSE I WASNT WITH MY PHONE SO I DECIDED TO CHECK IT ON THE INTERNET

I recieved this call at 7pm.  I didn't pick up the phone as it is not a number familiar to me. I am a Barcays customer and also an O2.

called me 3 times, i missed the calls and didn't bother to call back

Why they know your name/address?
they are just calling numbers deliberately, actually a computer does.

who is it and why are they calling me?

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm on O2 but I keep getting phone calls - as late as 9! Which is pretty late for a bank to be calling... Getting very annoyed now.

I got my first call today, put it in google and found this thread. Oh Joy!  So, from what I understand, I'll be receiving these for a week or so and IF I don't pick them up they'll stop??  By the way, I'm with o2 and Barclays...

Just received a call from that number. a man asked for my wife. both of us are with Barclays, so I think it's their marketing sells. Don't like those calls though. He said - there is nothing to worry about :)

Just had them ring me, didnt answer - Im O2 & Barlcays too!

i got a call from this number answered it and it was a blank line i said hello and after 4 seconds the line went dead.

I called back and they said "Welcome to Barclays Marketing......" and I have a Barclays account so I'm pretty sure that's what it is...

This number called me 6 times in a row, i called back and it tolod me i would be charged for the call so i put the phone down. getting annoying tho

I have had a few days of these calls.  I answered it yesterday and I got an automated message saying that it was Barclays and they weren't able to talk to me and to stop these marketing calls to phone blah blah blah.  Why phone if they can't talk to me, not that I want to talk to them anyway.
I shall go into my branch and ask them to get them to stop as its really annoying me now.

Had a missed call from this number today dont know who the fook it is , howm they got my number or why they are calling me ??????

Apparently, the combination of t-mobile and barkclay gets this annoying call, too.

Calling 3 or 4 times a day for the last 3weeks, spoke to Barclay's bank as one call was at 3.30am
They said they will stop them from calling, but as yet Im still been called. I will e-mail the link to this page to them and see it that helps
