i keep receiving calls from this number scotcall and the threat o grams telling me they will be visting my
home thing is if they have purchased the debt from the original creditor in my book the creditor has chosen to discharge the debt and i no longer owe monies.lots of debt collection agencies will never admit to buying your debt as they want you to think that they are acting on behalf of their client which they think gives them an advantage they then offer a discount for settlement .

Had a call off them regarding money owed to Vanquis. They asked me for my address and DOB for security purposes. I then asked HIM for HIS name, address and DOB for MY security checks. He was gobsmacked and told me there was no way I was getting HIS details. I said " Thats fine, so no ones getting anything then are they? Thank you, bye bye. They havent been back on since! lol

As with all unknown numbers, I just pick up, hang up and let them pay for the call to my mobile.

have been getting loads of calls from this number.. called them back using Skype(no way i'm going to rack up mobile charges) anyway I told them I had no idea what this was referring to and would only give my name and number to confirm as I had my identity stolen and if this was a true debt they would understand and give me the address they had so I could confirm it or not.. she said we can't do that so I said well we've reached an impasse then and please stop calling this number as it is not my debt as all of MY debts are paid for or are in arrangements to pay for where as the stolen id debts are not as they are not my liability to pay according to the solicitors helping me sort it out.  She hung up. I've now also emailed the company and stated that all our correspondence will be written either to my email or my solicitors address. Will see if this gets the calls to stop.

08001582808 and a couple of others had started calling me.  So went to Tesco's and bought a new Panasonic Digital answering system with three cordless digital phones as they had reduced it down to £30.00 "Yes £30.00 " the Brilliant thing about this system is that it has 100 number storage for friends & Family  etc  PLUS & THIS IS THE BRILLIANT BIT.   50 NUMBER STORAGE FOR INCOMING CALL BARRING. It is the Muts Nut's !!  I temporarily put in my mobile number and called it and what it does is identifies the number from the blocked list in a split second and disconnects the call  the home phone doesn't even ring and all you hear when calling it is like a quarter of a ring tone then that long disconnected - beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppp

So cop that Scott Call and all the other annoying Muppet's  the model number is  Panasonic KX-TG6523 and it has a great answer machine so when an annoying caller (that you haven't Blocked yet!) leaves you a message with a number to call back or you do 1471 to get there number you just add it to the blocked list.  Plus you can monitor the answer machine as they are leaving the message so if they don't leave a number or hang up you can do 1471 straight away and get the number and Block it   Check it out  as I said ours is the   Panasonic KX-TG6523  there are several variants ie; with or with out ans phone  and with either 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 handsets ... Just look at the specifications on the back of the box, stated in black and white on the back of the box " Incoming Call Barring "  find one with that on the box and all the spam calls cease pretty quick !!! as ours have "lol" BTW  you will need to subscribe to Caller ID with your service Provider if you have not done so already  !!!  by the way I don't work for Tesco's or Panasonic  but have just bought the answer to our prayers  and no more unwanted calls :o)  GOOD LUCK.  HOPE THIS HELPS  and HAPPY CALL BARRING  From a Not so peeved Now in Sussex  Yeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaa!!!!

Dozens of automated messages from them over the past few weeks, when I pick up the phone, asking for a Mr Paul Robinson. although sometimes asks for someone called David something-or-other or Graham something-or-other. All wanting me to call them back over someone who has never had my home phone number.

Total nuisance and clearly a scam.

These people will not stop! I'm getting 5 or 6 calls a day now.  Up to 9pm at night.

I have told them on each call that the person they are looking for does not and has not ever lived at this address - to which I am basically told I am a liar and it would save time if I just admitted I am a liar and pay my debt.

Rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to.

Just had a call from these cu*nts... The 0800 is a mask for 01412273670.

They are a "STUPID" debt collection agency called SCOTCALL. They are so stupid cause on numerous occasions I have told them I'm a woman I'm not a guy called MARK FACER and this is not a orange contract phone!!!! It's bloody Vodafone!!!!! For gods sake, how's my times do I need to threaten them and say I am going to file for harassment.... NOW I ACTUALLY WILL! Calling at stupid o'clock in the early morning hours and countless texts messages and bothering a pregnant lady when they don't even know this person is harassment!

Got several calls, texts and voicemails from this company asking for a mr clayton bradley?! For a start off I am female and I am too young to even get a loan let alone any debts!

started ringing my mobile again, don't answer. used to call using 01412273670. chasing someone who has never lived here and never heard of.

Received a text message from these yesterday asking to get in touch with a reference (no name attached).  Today received a voicemail from the 0800 number asking for me to get in touch. They used my name but since I have no known debt why would I contact them, I've not got anything in writing no I've blocked their numbers to my mobile and will wait to see if they actually send anything in writing.

I keep getting calls from this number with a mumbled message asking for a name that I cannot even make out. It sounded like a robot, how do I stop them calling?

they phoned me, and asked me to confirm who i was, they then wanted me to give them my address, i asked why, they was rude, and said they would not tell me any more until i gave my address, i would not give it them, so she said well wait till you get the letter, im still waiting for the letter considering they don,t have my address, they did, not tell me who there were, and would not tell me, so whoever they are they can whistle...........
