I had a call from 08001691608.    They claim they were my Broadband provider and I was entitled to an upgrade.
They said they needed to go through details and discuss new contract.   I told guy if they knew who I was and wanted to improve my Broadband, well just do it.  Oh, no, they wanted to discuss it.  I then told them to put everything in writing and post details to me so I could compare...... he said he would.    And I don't think.

just had a call from them - they dropped it as soon as I picked it up - annoying...

have received 4 calls today from them. i didn't answer as number unknown to me

Very annoying. We have answer on always. Can hear call centre noise and sounds like Tyneside accents. Strange how this is UK for annoying stuff but when we need to call them we get though to India.

called no message lot of office noise in background. how long is the working day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

F**K OFF.  I will never, ever give anyone my business from calling during my time.  If I want a product I'll research it myself.  Scumbags.

I actually think  this is bt.

My broadband subscription has finished with them and i think they wish to tie me up with another 18 months .
they constanly rung me from a number thats on here as bt a month or  2 back  and often was from a bt call centre in newcastle which is where all the accounts are dealt with and then twice i got calls from bt india call centre,

So by reading above a person that had geordie accent and then rung and got india - i think it has to be bt

I am registered with TPS yet I am receiving these unsolicited calls. I have received 8 to date with no message being left on my answer machine. Laughably BT charge for customers to have a service put in place to block certain numbers. So if this is BT ringing time and time again making a nuisance of themselves then perhaps it is a ploy to drum up custom for their other services? Makes one think doesn't it.

I've had 2 calls today from this number, 1 yesterday & numerous previous ones.  I took Martin's advice (11 July) & called BT on 0800 800150.  I received an abject apology, & an assurance that it will not happen again.  Hmmm, we shall see !

dialed 1471 and this number seems to call me every day any ideas who they are thanks

It's a real pain keep being a nuisance - am with BT: just fed up with cold calls and nobody there!!

Not got a clue who is calling me. When my answer message kicks in then the phone goes down.

These twots claim to call "on behalf" of BT wanting to discuss BT Infinity broadband. I told them I was under contract with SKY. They soon buggered off!

I recieved a call on my ex-directory landline from this number today. They said that they were BT and could give me superfast broadband as they had opened a new exchange nearby. Seemed legitimate, but I told them to remove my number from their calling list.

Never anyone there when I pick up

Yet again BT attempting to get me to upgrade to this or that despite assurances from them that they would NEVER contact me again. They are a bunch of liers and make me sick.
