- AnnoyedThe man said he is from BT. When he asked if it was ok if he looked at my bill, I told him if he is from BT he doesn't need my permission to do it, as it is in front of him. In the end I told him to bugger off!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- cadellYes it is BT. But when I asked security questions to check their validity, he declined to answer! But he had the cheek to expect me to answer HIS security questions!!!!!

- Bea Tea| 2 repliesBT scum trying to force Infinity upgrades on their customers.
They promise it is free etc, But once your current contract (ADSL) expires you will be paying the full price for Infinity.
They also do not tell you that to get Infinity you must have the BT router and Wi-Fi ([***] off) and they will only install it next to your phone socket.
If BT think I am upgrading or paying them another penny when my current contract expires they can [***] jog on, they charge me £6 to pay my bill with a debit card because I refuse to set up a direct debit, currently looking in to the legals with this and WILL get it refunded.
One word of advice, If BT ring you offering Infinity constantly then simply say this:
Thank you for your kind offer of Infinity but I DO NOT REQUIRE THIS SERVICE.
Now, for your records..NOTICE TO AGENT IS NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL - If you EVER ring me again offering BT Infinity I will charge BT £5000 per call.
Then hang up, they will never call you again- Caller: BT Infinity

- John replies to Bea Tea| 1 replyWow, you really are bitter and twisted.
If you hate BT so much, leave them! We really don't give a [***] whether you want to or will pay them more money. This is a company ID site, not a review site. Get a grip! - Nan replies to JohnThe laugh is that you can opt out of 'phone calls. I joined BT in March last year and specified ncontact by e-mail only and never get telephone calls. Simple.
- really replies to Molatov CocktailAre you still alive?
That is not stalking? You're 84 - grow up. - PaulCall from a lady who told me she was calling to save me money on phone and broadband. Told her I was perfectly happy with current provider. She wanted to know who it was; I repeated that I was perfectly happy. She told me that she hadn't told me how much I could save so I repeated again that I was perfectly happy and put the phone down. I know they have a job to do but which bit of "I am perfectly happy..." do they not understand!

- Tru2Me8 o'clock in the evening? Ha! Try 2 in the morning! I thought it was a call regarding a seriously ill member of the family and raced to the phone only to find it was this damn number calling again! Have now barred it. All my contact with BT is via email and email only and I've contacted them about these calls that are allegedly from them. Waiting for a response or apology but not holding my breath...
- MoM| 1 replyThis number is calling us numerous times a day. We have call I.D. so don't pick up, but as a family we feel 'harrassed'. Who is it? We have a private number so where have they got it from?
The world we live in? Not a nice place really is it? - PeterCalled 150 and verified that this is BT (they had a record of all the calls, 4 hour call back if no reply). BT sport may be charged (if registered for sky) if you are not in a 12 month contract. My fixed 12 month contract is passed and I'm currently on a 30 day notice contract. BT are trying to contact all their customers who they may start charging in August. They offered me a reduction on a new 12 month fixed contract, so it may be worth contacting them, (if only to stop the calls).

- KevIt is BT, they told me dates my contract for Infinity to run out and I would lose BT Sports if I did not take out another 12 month contract.
Told them I wanted to think about it, as Sky seem to have a better pricing for phone, broadband, especially as I have Sky TV anyway.
Seven days later, these calls have started again.- Caller: BT
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Ben's dadyea, I got a call from 0800 169 1608, saying BT Sport would be chargeable from August...
I had not time to listen to the spiel, or to go through the subservient "answer our questions about me so you can be satisfied about your data compliance" so I told the caller I wasn't interested, she seemed offended and said it was just a courtesy to say BT Sport was becoming chargeable in August. I said if BT wanted to change my contract they could write to me. (BTW they never did)
When I had time I called BT... guess what???
NOT TRUE.
HD BT Sport, and BT Sport for Non BT customers will be chargeable, but no change for me, and no CHARGE...
Sharp practice, Bending the truth, whatever you call it, it phone pest behaviour!- Caller: BT Sales Upgrade team

- Fred replies to chrisGet yourself a phone system with call blocking facility. You tell your phone to block numbers that you don't want calling you, including International. They still call you but you don't need to answer as your answer phone takes the call. They never leave a message so are obviously thieves or marketeers.
