Report a phone call from 08003289393 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Martina| 2 repliesI just took a call from this number. They introduced themselves as BT and explained that they run an offer along side vista print (who I recently ordered flyers from for my business dinky drew designs) to place an advert for my business free of charge in the next BT business directory. He just confirmed a few business details with me including email address, and business name, all of which he knew anyway so assume they are genuine.
- Caller: BT
- DAvid MackieIt is BT Broadband repairs service. I have an outstanding issue with Broadband

- RiaMacThis number has been calling my MOBILE up to 15 times a day for the past 4 days. Thankfully my phone is always on silent so doesn't interrupt me but who are they, what do they want and how did they get my number? Can't be too important though as they have never left a message!
- CajefJust had a call from this number, someone claiming to be from BT and checking that my phone was working and asking if there had been any problems recently.
- David Atherton| 1 replyI got it, so I put my mobile on TPS. BT don't call TPS numbers.
- Caller: BT (assumed, who else CID's 0800)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Mark replies to David AthertonI'm afraid they do call TPS numbers because I had one last night at 10 o'clock.
- LisaReverse charge call request from my Dad so it might actually be worth answering this one as someone you know needing help.
- divvy replies to VICKit is BT, engineer just left a message from this number. relax fella.
- hollyberry| 1 replyI get at least 5 calls a day and then it hangs up
- Caller: no idea
- Xman replies to hollyberryThis is a BT number. If someone calls you from BT this number is given. When you call this number you will get a message telling you that BT had called and will call you again. I have seen that people are saying that they are registered with TPS and still get call from BT. TPS is there to try and stop telemarketing calls not service calls. It may be a friend that works for BT that is calling you or someone from a BT office trying to contact you for some reason not related to marketing. e.g. a fault or billing issue you may be disputing.
- JonkarraThis is definitely a BT number. If someone uses the internal phone system this is the phone number that will be presented to you. In terms of the TPS thats only for marketing/sales calls other calls ie chasing up bills, getting back to you if you ask for more information etc arent included.
- Caller: BT
- helen replies to Timnope it leaves a voicemail message saying this is only £2.19 per call - press star to accept and hang up if not - i blocked then had to turn my voicemail off - funnily enough after i turned voicemail off it stopped!!!!!
- heleni got several calls from 4.30 pm today with a voicemail stating "this call cost only £2.19 - press star to accept hang up if dont want to accept charges" - i put the phone on reject and the calls went straight to voicemail - i turned off voicemail and the calls stopped after the next 3 - i feel sure not BT and if it was i want an explanation!
- SAMThis is a BT number. How do I know this? Coz I work for BT.
- Caller: BT
- Call type: Telemarketer
- emsr2d2 replies to boopieThat's fine but it's a number that's not in my phonebook and I never answer such calls. I have a voicemail service for a reason. If they want to talk to me they need to leave a message saying exactly what it's about, and giving me a name and a direct number to call back on.
- emsr2d2 replies to MartinaI think that's why they're trying to contact me too as I recently made a VistaPrint order. However, I tried to make it clear I only wanted to be contacted about the cheap offer by email, not by phone. If they don't leave a message saying that's what it's about, then they won't be getting to speak to me.
- SteveIn my case this number was BT trying to get hold of me due to a call back I was owed due to issues with my BT infinity installation (to be read as they screwed up the cables in the cabinet).
