Had 5 calls from this number in the last few hours. I never pick up when I do not know the number and having google'd the number and found this site I won't bother either!

Called my house today, it was silent no one spoke, put the phone down, have put a complaint with TPS.

Get yourself registered with the Telephone Preference Service http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/

It's free, and they will help.  Register your numbers and once done it's illegal for anyone to call you with unsolicited calls like these.  If they still call you can then take it up with the TPS.

08003896818 - about 20 calls in October.

They often call me. I also get calls from other time waster. They did not always hang up, sometimes there is someone trying to sell you things you don't want. I simply ask them to hold and leave the phone on the table for a few minutes. They soon hang up !!!

Registering with the TPS doesn't always work. I am registered yet still get these phone calls.
The government should do something about it but doesn't (nothing new there then !!!!)

08003896818 - called today asking for my husband by his full name, when I said he wasn't here she told me she was from BT and claimed to be able to save us 70% off our phone bill if we got a BT credit card - it took 3 times to get through to her that I wasn't interested in a credit card - hate it when people don't take no for an answer the first time!!

I have been getting calls from them all week and I am already registered with the TPS

I've been missing lots of calls from this number and finally just answered it and was told it was MBNA business wanting to speak to the owner of the business (my mobile is part business, part personal) I said I wasn't interested in any loans or credit cards and they said thanks for your time and have a nice day.

they keep calling, i have told them to pi$$ off  but they keep on dialling, they told me they were from plymouth, or portsmout,,, shame they are not local to me as i would have gone and thrown a brick through there window.

They keep calling me also. To stop them call '0800 032 4617'. Without this i wouldn't have known how to stop them thanks.

keep receiving calls from this number, have now called 0800 032 4617 as mentioned in the previous comment to be removed from their call list, hopefully these calls will now stop

had a call from this number they said they were from Npower and wanted to see if they could compare energy prices, so I said no and asked them to take us off their list

What a childish and unprofessional company - I just emailed them after finding the details on here - thanks all...

I have just been contacted by your company – it is 9pm!  I answered the phone to hear stupid noises down the phone before you hung up.  It was like a 5 year old child sticking their tongue out yelling blur blur blur and hanging up – you call this professional?

I have dialled 1471 and called your 0800 0324617 number to be removed.  I am ex directory and do not appreciate such unprofessional and childish behaviour from a company at such a late hour.

Grow up and address your customer service standard!

TLC are a genuine marketing company who work on behalf of a number of clients - such as O2, Sky,BT credit Card, MBNA, Virgin, Travel Lodge, Debenhams and De-Vere to name but a few.

They are not scam artists, why are people so suscpicious!! Simply call 0800 032 4617 and your details will be removed.  Your telephone numbers would have been supplied by the original client in the first place, not by TLC.

i get this ringing every day 1 ring hang up so no time to pick up the call.

This number is from the Listening Company, they are marketing agency trying to sell products so say on behalf of various other companies like Sky, BT, Orange etc.
If you phone 0800 032 4617 you can remove your number from they're calling list.

Since last week Im receiving many calls (at least twice a day) from this number 080003896818. They phone me on different time of the day. I searched online about this number and i found this forum. Just now I phoned 08000324617 and hopefully my number will be removed from their calling list.

I keep getting calls from them as well but I just phoned 0800 032 4617 to take my number off their list. Hopefully this works!
