I get calls from the above number on a weekly basis. I have refused to answer them. If they continue I will report them to the relevany authorities or the police. All telephone numbers are traceable.

Have been called several times over the past few days. First time a man claimed to be from Virgin media about my broadband. I did not give him chance to say what for. I will report this to Virgin Media.

I have received a number of calls from 08004089340 identifying themselves as virgin media. Asking me for details, but as soon as I say they should already have my details they hang up. I called Virgin media & the response was quite out of order. What do I do to stop this ?

Just dialled 150 & spoke to a virgin media rep. The number is in fact a virgin media number. I requested no more calls & she assured me that I've been removed from their call list. Time will tell.

I am getting calls from 08004089340 on an HOURLY, DAILY basis. Person on the other end of the phone claims to be from Virgin media and asks me my personal details I always tell them I am going out and don't want them to phone me- but they keep doing it.

I want it to stop!

Keep getting calls on mobile from this number, VERY noisy background, impossible to hear caller clearly, seems to be Virgin media, but have stopped answering the calls now, as they gave me incorrect amount of what my bills are.  I will not pick up calls from this number now.

The best way of stopping all these unknown and unwanted calls is to get a device called True Call.
This is a simple small unit that you simply install between your phone socket and phone and you can tell it who to allow and who not to. It is also an answering machine. I,ve had one now for two months and it tells me it has blocked forty unwanted calls. I think they are great

Pain in the [***] callers at inconvenient times. Unwanted. rude and ignorant of my request not to call due to the fact that the person they wanted was DEAD.......

I am repeatedly getting calls from this number at the moment. I NEVER answer. Mostly I am at work but I have a policy of never answering any daytime calls because they are usually rubbish. I then do a 1471 in case it is someone i know.  However they persist in ringing me.

Been getting calls from this number for two weeks now,at least twice a day,I don't answer it but its becoming really annoying!!

This is an offshore Virgin Media telemarketing department trying to sell you more of their products. I had a problem with then about a year ago when they kept calling me so persistently it bordered on harassment. I told them in no uncertain terms to stop calling me a number of times but they phoned me every day several times a day for weeks. In the end I put a formal complaint through to Virgin and the calls stopped......until now!  They started calling again last week and have been calling each day a few times a day, I haven’t answered as yet and have no intention of doing so. I wouldn’t mind but my mobile is also registered with the TPS. Guess I’ll just complain to Virgin again....

I had a missed call from this number today, didn't answer as not sure who it was!!
Now I know it's Virgin Media Asian Call Centre, they won't get anything out of me!!

Answered - sounded like an electronic American voice asking for Mr Wilson - said he wasn't on this number and finished call

Similar to above - I think itwas Virgin Media but terrible contact training - took a LONG time to get to the point of asking if I could confirm my method of payment. As previous people have said if it is Virgin they know! Did try to say it was a security question but by then my patience was ended!!
