Just had a few calls of these chancers,dont they realise most of us can just add them to the reject call list.Idiots.

A man asked for a Mr XXXXX - which was not me, so I put the phone down

They rang me selling insurance for my sky box. When i requested them to send me the forms through the post so i could look at them. They where shocked and kept insisting i set it up over the phone. I said no and they hung.

Just had a extremely rude guy on the phone calling from this number, he was obnoxious and would not listen to what I was saying. The guy was very pushy and said he could give me all information about my sky account and I should give him my sky account details I refused and he got angry. Very poor service

Answeered the call from this number, the call went dead. No message.

Second call from this number in 3 days! Didn't answer this time!

Its a company to insure your sky box
BUT has nothing to do with sky. Dealt with these before they take your money but they never pay out when needed its a con
mine was affected by flood  they said nothing could be done by natural causes I said it didnt get wet it caught fire when electrics sparked they told me I had to claim on house insurance but still had cheek to want money off me
bought a box on sky and ordered a new card from sky  

After reading some of these messages I'd just like to remind everyone that the people ringing you are not doing this for fun, it's a job they are being paid for, usually because they can't find a job doing something else or are between jobs, the economy is hard right now.
I do not work for this number but I can assure you if you don't answer we will keep ringing as it's an automated dialling system which is used.
We're just people trying to pay the rent and bills like you so if you could do us the common courtesy of picking up the phone and politely telling us you arent interested that would be great and saves us all a lot of time and makes our jobs a little easier.
If agents are being rude ask to speak to a manager, you're perfectly within your rights to do that or ring up Sky and ask for your details to not be passed to third parties but screaming and shouting doesn't solve anything.

I always say to them. I can afford to buy a new box. Why would i get an insurance if i can afford to buy a new one?

I have tried being polite to this type of call but when you are insulted and treated like an idiot whilst your time is wasted by an unwanted cold call your sense of politeness tends to wear thin.  Also I do not need to waste additional time talking to a manager when enough of my time has been wasted trying to get the message "I am REALLY NOT INTERESTED" through.

Received a call from 'Domestic and General Insurance on behalf of Sky'. They then pretended they couldn't hear me. I didn't call back and blocked the number.

Hi all, this number rang me yesterday and asked for me by name, I said yes that's me. He then asked, in a foreign accent, if I wanted to insure my sky box, when I said, "What's the point, they're only 60 quid on eBay", he put the phone down. Oops I think I upset him!!!!

I've been getting calls from this number lately... about 4 calls in the last 10 days. i haven't answered as i don't recognise the number. I definitely won't answer now i know who it is. I've had Sky for 7 years and it's not gone wrong/blown up/set fire to my children so far, so i'll take my chances and not purchase from.  Incidentally, I was hassled for ' sky insurance' by D and G about 2 years ago. I guess they think I might have changed my mind in the last 24 months. NOPE
