Just got a call from this number, it was Sky trying to sell insurance. If they don't get you one your mobile, they will phone your landline.  Bit too persistent really.

Got a call on mobile and again on land line from this number - no message left on either phone.

I have had several of these calls purporting to be from Sky.
I suspect they are selling insurance. I wish they could be stopped.

Strange accent spoke. Was too busy shagging my indian girlfriend so hung up.

This number keeps calling and comes up unknown number. I would be obliged it you would stop.

I have 6 spare sky boxes all at a cost off either free or paid upto 5 quid each for them lol

Answered heard a lot of background noise but nobody spoke then they cut off after seeing comments on here I will not answer Agra

Get at least two calls a day on my mobile from this number.it's a nuisance wouldn't answer when they call but it doesn't stop them. Thinking of answering it then blowing a whistle wonder if that will stop them.

No ability to block calls on your mobile?   Might not stop them calling but it would save you being bothered.

Had a call from 08004790758 saying they were phoning on your behalf is it true

I think this is a scam business recently shown on one of the rouge trader programmes. I explained this and the caller said I would find their details on the sky website as being affiliated, I looked and they don't. I have BLOCKED the number.

just had a call from these people - i didn't recognise the number so i didn't answer the phone.  have now blocked the number so i won't have any more calls

Unknown caller needs identifying

Seriously getting sick of this number calling!!! Been happening several times (at least 6/7 sometimes more) a day for the past 3 weeks!! As soon as I don't answer on the mobile they call the landline. Just had it happen about 3 minutes ago! And they called today for the first time at 7am this morning! I have 2 children in their beds at 7am and at this time of night and I'm heavily pregnant, it's getting ridiculous! I missed a call back from the doctor with regards to my son this afternoon because of it! Sky says there is nothing they can do but I will be calling them tomorrow to tell them if they don't stop the calls I will be cutting off my services with them and taking my custom elsewhere!

Domestic and General Household insurance in conjunction with Sky. Seems like that have bothered a lot of people me included. Insure my Sky Box, these boxes are very reliable so a very expensive way to get a replacement, just buy another one when it fails.

To avoid scams, I don't answer calls.If it is important the call would leave a message and I would reply if  I feel the call was valid.
08004790758 was registered and when I checked via Google I discovered that it was a scam! Google, you are most helpful. Well done!

Called telling me my sky box warranty was running out. Wanted me to cover it again for 9.99 asked me what model my TV was and they could cover anything else gadget wise in the house...thankfully I have a crappy old TV and no decent gadgets so I can't imagine theyll be after my stuff anytime soon, touch wood, but I did give the information about what I have got which was extremely stupid In hindsight. ..the bomb dropped when they asked for my sort code and account number...phone went down immediately but now extremely unsettling knowing they have my address name and know what's in my home with me and my 4 year old. Total scumbags!
