The same thing happened to my mum, THIS ISN'T SKY THESE PEOPLE ARE A CON.

got a call from the number 08004790758,let it ring and calledit back and a guy said who they were(D+G) on behalf of sky and if i did not want to receive anymore calls  from D+G to ring 08004584613 and Sky would take me off their list,i rang and guess what!it was the same guys voice from the other number! So they are lying!! Nothing to do with sky!!

I had a call from this company today coincidentaly?? on the day that there was a fault in my recently provided Sky Phone and Broadband Service. I have complained to Sky for releasing my phone number to them.

I have now checked my Sky account and the "marketing preferences" setting showed I was happy to be contacted by phone. I have now unchecked that box. I recomend other Sky users do the same unless you want this lot trying to sell you insurance you do not want.

Its not sky.  If its saying domestic and general then they are a separate insurance company who are authorised by sky to insure sky equipment

They also insure dishwashers, hoovers, pretty much any domestic appliance

they phone you to offer insurance because you are ending your contract! no contract means your equipment is not insured simples! x

ive had calls like this in the past.. after asking them not to call and then receiving calls still, I when on their website and made a complaint for each subsequent phone call.. they have to report all complaints made so they soon stopped when I was upping their complaints on a daily basis for each new call they made.

They try to get you to take out insurance on your sky box etc in case it breaks down if you have insurance they'll come and fix it for free. I get annoyed with these callers too and my answer is always 'please put something in the post to me and I'll be pleased to look at it'.

Have received 3 missed calls then finally answered them by mistake. They sound like a bunch of scam artists. Do not give them any details!

I had a phone call from this number didn't answer voicemail was left and it was a male voice spoken with a London accent was nor trying to sell insurance for sky but stated that someone really liked me and to give them a second chance.weird hey!!!

I had a callfrom this number at 4.09pm today.They said the were Legal and Demestic on behafe of SKY.After the  opening chat I realised  that they were going to try to sell me Insurance,so I hung up.My father  got caught out by them a few years ago,and the when a problem occured he got no joy from them,and then called SKY,who tol him that they had nothing to do with them,so I knew not to continue listening to the chat.

Someone calls me at midday every alternate day. They don't say anything but just stay on the line. Bit strange, I have added this in my blocked numbers

This number calls various times until you answer. When I answer the sales guy on the end of the phone tried very hard to sell my "sky protect" for my engineer call outs and sky box etc. Once I told the guy I really wasn't interested he cut me off without a goodbye...lovely customer service I see.

Just got a call from Domestic Insurance on my mobile but my spam blocker got to it before I could answer it first.

I constantly receive calls from this number between 7 and 8pm
I don't bother answering the phone to any of these cold callers
