Its sky tv trying to get you to insure your sky box - waste of money - dont ever do this.

Called mobile, when answered it was just silence, lodging a formal complaint to Ofcom.

they call me most days at approx. 7.00pm on my home phone, then when answer machine comes on they then ring my mobile.
bloody nuisance, shouldn't be allowed.

Called me saying D&G on behalf of Sky.  Having seen some recent stuff about these types of Insurance I just said I was just having my Tea, so they said they would ring later and good bye.  I've just blocked there number, they rang in my mobile, two clicks is all it took to block them.  If they ring back on another number I'll just block that.  I NEVER give out details to incoming calls, end of.

Have you noticed that they skip quickly past their company name. That's because they use 'Sky' and are nothing at all to do with them. They are a 'hang on' insurance company looking to make a quick buck off the back of a big name company. Don't give them any details whatsoever.

Answered mobile cause didn't know who it was. Eventually the lady on the phone told me it was 02. To my surprise this was a scam, as rang 02 and they don't use this number.

Had a call wanting to sell us Sky Insurance to cover the box, satelite and our TV!! The caller was friendly but very persistent and turned impatient when told him we're not interested. He didn't want to take no for an answer eventually we made it clear. Even if they know all your details such as Address, Account number when you had it installed Please do not agree and give your bank details.

If registered with TPS they can be fined for ringing you so report them , they are not taking any notice of the system that tells them you don't want calls

just go onto your calls log on your mobile , press info and bring up the number, scroll down to "block caller " and press.....no more calls or texts from that number again .....sorted

Called today saying they are calling on behalf of sky,thats a lie they are not connected to sky at all ,bloody nuisence ,told them to do one and not ring again

Means the warrenty on your equipment is running out so they try to get you to insure it incase it breaks down so you don't have to pay for a new one

Called my MOBILE which I never give to anyone. So where did they get it from?
I did not answer as I never speak to an unknown number.
Beware: calling an unknown number back can cost you £300.

You can register with TPS but - it may not work for a couple of months. The tele co buys info lists then load it into their computer, maybe before you registered. They 'wash' the info to take out the TPS requests regularly. Just tell them and they can click a button to remove you.

In what circumstances, pray tell.

Called on land line, picked up phone - silence so put it down.  Immediately the same number came up on my mobile so declined to answer.  Getting sick of these calls.

Sky viewers have the option to extend warranty on their Sky boxes and other equipment, the reason you may be getting a call is related to Sky's manufacturing warranty may be up & D&G want to see if they can sell you some more.

With the new Sky Q being released on 9th Feb if you upgrade to this you won't get these calls as Sky loan you the equipment and therefore have to fix it theirselves.

Although D&G are irritating - remember these are usually students trying to make a living whilst in college/uni so no need to be too short with them.

Missed call on my MOBILE which I NEVER give out!  How come???
