I keep getting this number ringing my land line its really annoying me because
my 3youngest kids 4 year 2 and 1 year olds was asleep when this number rang and rang at 7.45 this morning.i get phone balls every day but the most annoying was the1 at that time of the morning waking my kids up

The only thing I have found to get rid of these cretins is a Call Blocker.

I have had one now for a month and I live in complete silence now. The blocker is set to block all withheld numbers, numbers starting with 0843 and 0844 and as many of the accident claim scammers are using 0161 and 0700 numbers I have blocked all calls from theses too and a few normal numbers just for good measure.

Amazon are currently selling them for £40 including p&p and I noticed that the Ideal World TV channel have been selling them today for £40 + £6 p&p.

Well worth a punt if you value your sanity.

Received call from this company also. I believe they service your sky equipment
when the warranty runs out. You pay them monthly so if your sky box breaks down they
replace it instead of having to buy another one off sky.

Am fed up of this number ringing me.  i dont answer any call that is not in my phone memory.  They never leave a message on the answer phone which is a dead give away that they are selling something.  They can carry on ringing me because i wont answer but wish they would get a life a pester someone else.

i have just emailed them on the 'contact us now' section of their website and requested they remove my number from their sales calls. Lets see what happens

Had a call from same number asking me if i wanted to insure my sky box and line they implied that if the box and line needed repairing that I would have to pay for this if I didn't take out insurance, if this is the case I will be moving to a different broadband, telephone and T.V package and SKY will then be losing a lot of money.

Caller is Domestic and General PLC, on behalf of Sky.  Seems like they are starting up the random calling again.  Ironic enough, we don't have and have never had Sky.  I'd rather go without TV and comms than have that company!  And I'd certainly not buy insurance from a TV and communications company either!

This is a scam, they are not authorised to provide insurance on Sky products. This has been doing the rounds now for a while but it had calmed down. Seems they must be on the prowl again. Another reason I know it's not Sky that is calling is because Sky doesn't have my mobile number.

Another 2 calls today from this number, have contacted Sky and they have confirmed that they are not working on behalf of them.

This number keeps calling but no one speaks. One can hear some gobbledygook in the background that's all

i am getting calls from this number (08004790758) very frequently and i do no t know who it is or what it is about.

They just called me. They tend to ring me few times a day but finally i though of blocking this number on my mobile phone so fingers crossed the block will work :-)

This number keeps ringing my mobile...eventually I downloaded a call blocking app which stops the call going through. They still ring me as its shown as a missed call, but they never leave a message. Given that I don't give out my mobile number ever, I assume this caller is related to sky as stupidly I did give them my mobile number when signing up to their service. However why they think this gives them to right to keep ringing me randomly I don't know. Very annoying.

This number tried to call me, wasting my time with silence when I answered. I am registered with Telephone Preference Service to stop this kind of call. I am not happy.

Maybe you called them from your mobile and they logged your number from the caller id

This is Domestic & General Insurance - connection with Sky is that they provide cover for satellite dishes.
They are persistent but are a bona-fide organisation.

had a call today, answered it and what a rude lady on the other end. told her to Please stop ringing, she said never have (even their phone number stored in our phone that says 'sky') then told her person not avalible during day. Thats okay ill call in the eve. I said no just stop ringing. she then laughed, i then asked to speak to her manager/ supervisour her answer to that ' ha ha and what are you going to say to them? and she then hung up. I wouldn't do any sort of buying from these people. you can talk to someone at Domestic and General to complain. the number is 08444810104. they were very helpful dealing with this, so the more people complain the more chance they will be stopped.....
