7am !!!! These people need to be stopped.

I received 3 calls from a foreign man who I couldn't understand, told him he had a wrong number but he kept ringing. Put my answerphone on and got an sms text message from a foreign woman who I couldn't understand. My number is ex-directory so who is calling me and how did they get my number.

Received call for the first time from this number around 9:25 am, they left no message.

Im getting these calls and im not even in the Hull area. Im in the scunthorpe area.

14 calls in 15 minutes! Everytime it rings and hangs up as i pick the phone up. Its not the 1571 service as i dont have that active on my phone.

keep on getting this number call 0800 5875290 at least one a day, even though i am TPS, so annoying

Just called me at 6.55am

this number is a sms message... from snapchat... A friend wants to share a snapchat with me.. and then gave  me a number to log on to see the message on snap chat... Once you answer the fone you have to wait a while for the message to come on... so be patient... doest give u an opportunity to disable or calls from the number... BUT you gott listen to the mesage to do this... This numbe will keep calling till you get the message... :)

Wife very sick with terminal cancer and constant disturbance is distressing
We had this a month ago and spoke to Sky but its started again today

Picked up phone and heard nothing but a complete garbled message asking me to ring them back on an 0845 number? Dialled 1471 and got this number 08005875290. Needled to say I haven't returned the call and never will. Simples

Got called by the same 0800 number today 29 June 2013 and shortly afterwards and 1571 said it was a voice text from a certain 084443585862 number. Did not listen to the voice text just in case as 0844 costs 10p per minute.

My landline is not BT by the way. PESTS!!!!!!

calling at least twice daily. hangs up when you answer.

this is an underhand method of identity checking and debt related matters via the bt sms service beware of calling back to listen to a rubbish message that is usually related to crapital one etc etc....
calls of this nature are a waste of time and money if it is a serious matter ie the SOS type or very important I think a letter would be sent..........best to ignore them

Hi I am trying to run a business and keep getting this number ringing me several times of the day.  When I get home I also see I have had 20 missed calls all from the same number. I have a job to do and I need to use  the phone so it would be nice to be able to. Other than always waiting for them to hang up.

I'm getting these calls and I live in the West Country!

I had a spate of them some time ago, put a stop to them but they've started again today.

I have received 3 calls from this same number within the past 15 minutes. Each time i answer the phone i hear a quick screech noise, then it goes quiet for about 3-5 seconds, i then hear the hang-up tone.

It's so frustrating! After reading most of these other posts, i think i'll be leaving my phone off the hook tonight as i wouldnt want them calling all hours in the night/morning!

Oh, and i'm with Sky, not BT...
