4 calls in rapid succession from 080058775290.  Who is this?  How can I stop these nuisance calls?

This call was a voice recorded SMS message from my dentist asking me to call if my Monday appointment was not convenient. I suspect all calls from this number are SMS text messages and the highly distorted voice causes MUCH confusion. These messages may not only come from BT as others may offer a similarly automated service.

This number called me at 7:02 on a Sunday morning - I did not answer.
I hate these annoying calls !!

There is a way to stop voice texts being received,

   It has to be done by the land line concerned.

   Dial 0800 587 5252 (the text message options line for BT) – you must dial this from the landline you want to stop receiving text messages on.

   Please listen carefully to the initial recording, which will then give you 5 options to amend the curfew period on your line (so you don't receive texts or text to speech messages).
   You can either set a curfew between specific times of the day or you can opt-out of receiving text messages altogether.
   During the call you will be presented with the following curfew options;

   Standard curfew: turn off messages sent between 11pm to 8am
   Watershed curfew: turn off messages sent between 9pm to 9am
   Late night curfew: turn off messages sent between Midnight and 6am
   Turn off receiving ALL messages
   Anytime (no curfew): allows you to receive text to speech messages at anytime of the day or night

its got everything to do with bt as there allowing this service at times of the night that could be classed as harassment

I have received a voicemail checked it and in stated to disable voicemail do..... I checked withTaltalk they said they hadn't sent it, I asked if it was ok to delete they said yes and so I did just waiting to find out if it comes back as i have SMS inabled on my phone.

08005875290 rings every few minutes. How can I get them to stop. This is very frustrating since I am expecting an important call

I had a call this morning with a text message and now haven't been able to find out who called me

I got a call from this number today - I deleted the message immediately as it said I had an 0844 text or mail, can't quite remember beyond hearing 0844...

I believe it is part of the harassment from Advanced Telecoms Debt (ATD) Collection that 3 mobile use when you don't pay your bill. My son has a small amount owing but they usually ring with a caller ID of 0 but now this 0800 number called.

Last night he mistakenly answered the 0 number at 8pm and music played!

Just rang. At 7am on a saturday morning ! I dint get to the phone in time.
It really is time the government genuinly came down hard on these clowns.

This number has called me numerous times on my landline - when answered there is absolutely no one there!?!? Very strange. Looking through the comments I believe this is either a service provided by BT as someone has sent you a text message to your land line or it is a company known as Kingston Communications? If the later I shall be penning them a very stern worded email.

Absolutely sick to the back teeth of sales calls, it is quite evident that BT have sold our landline phone number on as we never give out the land line number nor use it for that matter!

often get this ringing for a few seconds and then stops. have no messages left on my phone ,

VERY annoying as have limited mobility so when th e phone goes I attempt to get up only to find its rung off

Just checked my BT text service and its 100% disabled.

So this number who claim to be SMS from BT are probably not.

Very fishy, Especially as the previous call i received they didnt have a clue who they
were or who i was.

it's not a good idea to call their number back it could be premium rate and anyway if it is important they will write.................i am sick of these automated robotic messages its a very cheap method of running debt collection agencys let them ring it costs THEM at the end of the day
BEWARE THEY WANT YOUR MONEY!

Received a call from this number at 7.10 this morning.  Didn't answer as I never pick up calls from unidentified numbers.  Message on voicemail; a series of seemingly random numbers.
