sorry made a mistake with the last message, i put the wrong date-

I am changing my supplier from E-ON as they are increasing my electricity supply yet again. They increased my bill in June 2011 and now going to increase it again in September 2011.

They have now phoned me twice trying to retain the supply contract.

I am in process of switching from EON to a fixed tariff with EDF. This number keeps calling me it is EON trying to stop you from leaving. im just ignoring them. Once the full process has taken place and i have paid EON off, if they keep calling me then the [***] will hit the fan, at the moment though i couldent care less to be honest

Same here - ring me but never leave it ring long enough. Getting annoying. In process of changing from Eon because of lies they told me about new tarrifs.

It's either British Gas or EOn. I waited for so long to pay my bill I asked for a callback - so could be that. Also because they've jacked up their prices and we're leaving, the retention teams keep phoning with offers - why didn't I get the offers before? Oh, and I can save around 0.1 pence in the £ for having a Direct Debit - anyone read the small print? Might as well just give them my front door key.

Call from E.on asking why I was leaving. Informed them I wasn't and that this is second time my meter has been hyjacked. They were helpful and will resupply. Had a note on my account not to allow other companies to change without my written authority but now find they cannot stop them. Awaiting details of other company to complain to Ofgen.

I think you are probably correct. I've just started the change procedure and got my first call from thios number today. They said they were E-on and would I ring them back. I'm not going to.

Definitely EON. They keep phoning trying to get me to stay as a customer. I have asked them why they put my prices up but when I protested at the time they had no better offers for me. Now I am moving onto a new supplier all of a sudden they have special offers for me.

It stinks, tell them to go forth

Just had a call from this number. Was asleep as on nights. At least I know who it is now. I am also changing supplier from Eon to someone else so it all fits in.

I got lots of calls from this number during one morning. Answered a few of them but just got office noise. I then decided to ring them back. It turned out it was E On trying to sell me power! The rep didn't sound very professional.

Was called the other day, and am also in the process of changing supply. If you manage your account online, then you can stop any further phone calls by changing your contact number in your account to 00000 000000.

The calls will continue unless you answer them, that I can promise.
And like a few on here have said, their supply had been changed without consent and if it wasn't for EON calling, they would never have known. Every energy supplier will contact you when you leave and try and retain you, it is common business sense.
And for those moving because of a price increase, are you aware all SUPPLIERS HAVE INCREASED THEIR PRICES?

I've got a call from them and they call me everyday. Luckily I use a virtual number which I can chose to have routed through to my real phone if I want. I just get email notifications that they've tried to call me.

I'm moving supplier and they are doing the same to me.

One way to stop it is to update your details if you have an online account with them and change your number to : 08007838555

Then they end up calling themselves !!! They'll soon get fed up.

*Constant* calls from these people on my mobile.  I have no account with them, never have and now never will.

They won't leave a message, and if you pick up you just get a silent phone call with office noise in the background.

Not a good way to drum up business...

Thanks to this Web site I know who called my mobile (EON, I am in the process of switching from them); the call is listed as a "missed call".

And I'm glad I missed it; I'm abroad and would have had to pay roaming charges.

Which is something they could have known from the ring tone.

The fourth nuisance call today; if I had answered.  Just let the answer machine pick up all of your calls.  Let loved ones know, of course that they may have to wait for 9 rings and then a simple  message.  ' please state your name and business';  it's horrifying how often it just goes dead.
