Answered survey questions at Majorca airport 4 weeks ago,received the cal today to inform us we had won a holiday for 4 in star hotel in Majorca. After reading aout attending the timeshare talk everyone has mentioned, I wonder if they will e flying ovr to Jersey for this, as this is where we live!

More or less the same thing has happened to me today. I rang the free phone number out of curiosity expecting to be told I'd have to pay for some part of the holiday. I was told that I'd have to pay airport taxes and a booking fee for each person. When I asked what the catch was I was told that this was the way the company advertised their holidays (no mention of timeshares though.) I've had a look at the comments and there is a entry from someone who went to one of the 'presentations' and refused to sign up for anything but still got the holiday and had a great time - makes you wonder whether this is true or if it's an employee....

stop whining, if you didn't fill in surveys we wouldn't phone you would we? get a brain and stop giving out you personal info to us. so long bumsuckers

I have the same story as everyone else, received the call, told about paying booking fee, airport taxes etc and going to the presentation so I checked on here to see how genuine it all was. I'm glad I did.

Just read a couple of comments on page 10 about how great CLC are - just wondering why they would be googling the free phone number if they're convinced it's such a good oportunity....

Call from Lee (withheld #) saying call Charlene asap 0800 number. Won trip for 4 to Algarve, theatre tickets, have to attend 2 hour presentation at Charlotte St Hotel, London but don't have to buy anything. So glad I Googled the number first!

These people phoned my husband and said congratulations you have won a holiday for four.  He said he had not enterered a competition but they said yes you did when you were on holiday at the airport and we remembered there was a lady filling in questionnares at the airport saying you could win a holiday so we truly believed we had won.  The guy even said "have a wonderful holiday".  

As soon as we rang the freephone number they said "do you own your own house" we said no and then we were told we were not eligible as it was a time share deal.  What a total scam.  Will never give any details away ever again.  Please do not get fooled by these nasty, nasty people.

Filled in a questionaire at Alicante Airport (Sept 26th). Received a phonecall this evening saying that we had won a holiday worth £3000. All we had to do was ring a freephone number 08009889900 and quote a reference number SA8****C.
A strange question the woman asked was "Do you own your own house?"
Mmmm.....What's that got to do with winning a holiday?!!!
Google the freephone number, was the first thing that came to mind. Glad I did!

I won't be filling in any more questionaires in the future!

just got a call saying you filled a sompetiton for CLC resorts? and i have won a holiday saying you and your partner? what the hell is this?
gave me a ref number and freephone number. i get 50 pounds of vouchers too!

Was told that I won a holiday to a European country after filling in a questionnaire. Given a promotional code and was told would receive High Street vouchers.

just got a call after i compelted a form in Plama airport to say i had won first prize, a holiday but had to call 0800 9889900 and quote SA111W118B which is obviously the girls commission id. It sounded like a big call centre where it sounded like lots of people where doing the same.  She didnt have an answer when I said why coudln't she call the number and give them the id ref?

Does anyone actually fall for this rubbish any more?

filled in a questionaire at parma airport in september, and have now just been called to say that I have won a holiday for 4 people to the value of £1500. All I have to do is dial the number righr away and quote this security number SA11----B and I willrecieve anapplication form for my choice of destination and dates.---------I don't think so!!!!!!!

just had call from these people they said absoluteley no obligation and that i should ring following number for my air tickets to any european location of four places for free holiday with nothing to do about timeshare, glad i checked this site,,,,,,,,,,

Had call just like the rest ,glad I looked on the web,and not was taken in.

Filled in details for survey in Malaga airport.They said I would only be contacted in the event of winning the prize draw.

Called weeks later and told me I had won, and that I had to call the 0800 9889900 number.

Thanks to this site I haven't

I phoned this number (club la costa) and was very sceptical, I listened to what the person was telling me and thought I would give it a go as it was not going to cost me anything, I was very surprised and there was no hard sell. yes it is to do with time share but not only time share they do cruises, package holidays amongst other things. Anyway to cut a long story short I had a lovely holiday that didn’t cost me a fortune and hopefully I will get offered a chance to go again so to all of you that comment without knowing the full facts get a life

we filled in a brief questionnaire whilst waiting at the airport in tenerife a couple of months ago.  the lady was very friendly and had joked that we shouldn't sit by the phone waiting as no-one ever won the prize holiday in the draw - in fact she was a bit reluctant to even take our phone number!!?.  

so imagine my great surprise when this morning i was called to say we had won a holiday for 4 to the canaries or spain, courtesy of two minute interview and club la costa.  wow!  

the gentleman phoning sounded like he was in a call centre.  he checked that i owned my own home before giving me a reference number and then advised i should call a freephone number IMMEDIATELY.

however, if you then say "actually, I don't own my own house" suddenly the 'holiday prize' disappears.  funny that, eh?

My wife rec'd call today saying she had won a week's holiday as a result of filling in ticket stub at the Knit & Stitch exhibition at Alexandra Palace recently.Female named 'Sara' said it would be valid for 18mths etc and quoted same 0800 number.My wife had attended this event at 'Ally Pally', how did they know? We did not phone the number.

called on 27th october.said I had won holiday in portugal following survey completed at faro airport (did do survey)asked me to ring free of charge and quote ref number. Didnt bother to ring.

Entered a questionnaire, abt 1 week later received a call to call the 0800 no above Suspected scam and line was busy anyway.

Hi i had the phone call today exactly the same 3 holiday for a week for 4 people, phone 08009889900 & use security code to claim? not believing free hols for nothing i googled "CLC" everyone said its timeshare or scam but has anyone really gone on this 3 holiday, i did get a call the other week to go to bluewater & get 3 vouchers said no then get this call today, putting to & to together realise this is probably the same company? can u just go 4 the chat & get ur holiday ? they never told me about a voucher is that how u get ur hols?
would'nt it be worth a week away if its just one day out of it listening to this boring chat?
