Got one of these calls Friday.  Remembered being harrassed into filling in the form at the Stitch and Craft show at Sandown Park a couple of weeks ago.  Was suspicious from the start but particularly so when asked about annual income of self and husband.  Told them i was none of their business and hung up.  Found the counterfoil from the entry form.  Tried the website - not available.  What a surprise.

Attended the meeting at Lakeside with my wife and got £50 of vouchers despite not buying(took about 5 hours though).  Will be flying out for the promotional holiday on Saturday to CLC Marina Del Sol and am expecting another 5 hours of hard time share pressure (doesn't worry me as I used to sell double glazing) early in the holiday.  Flights (including 4 cases of luggage) and accomodation came in at around £280 for 4.  Obviously you have to sort out your own transfers and insurance.  Will let you know how I get on.

Sorry Mr Mapling I am flying out on Saturday with my wife and children.  I did not buy into CLC and am not likely to on the holiday.  If you check the resort out on trip advisor you will discover the holidays do exist but you will be subjected to a hard sell on the Monday or Tuesday.  I have spoken to a number of people on line who have been on the holiday and my wife works with someone who actually went.  We got £50 worth of vouchers because we attended the meeting mid week.

You have to meet certain criteria to get the promotional holiday.  Be part of a couple between 28 to 64, be homeowners and have a joint income in excess of 25K per annum.  This is so they stand a chance of a sale at thier end.  If you do not fit into that narrow profile the "prize" disappears...

The people who make the iniial calls are blatant liars.
Strong language, but when they insist it's a genuine holiday win when it's NOT, that IS a lie!

Tulum, why do you sound so passionate and defensive? Do you work for them? I got the call today and called the 0800 number back and the lady on the phone was just blabbing on. I said I will call back with the date I can go for their session. Wont bother phoning back now....

Had a call today telling me I've won a holiday...free flights & accommodation. The girl was so excited!!! Said she will e mail me the details (lucky I only use a hotmail account when doing stuff like surveys), nothing arrived yet...surprise surprise!!! Said she will also send stuff by snail mail but as there's a possible postal strike, would I please call them to validate my claim.  Number given was 0800 988 9900. Checked this on Google and confirmed it to be a scam for timeshare. Another caller rang back this afternoon, and my PA told her I was busy. She said she'd try again later!!! I don't think I'll be around for the call......

I had filled out a quick questionnaire on the street about a week ago while I was waiting for my friend, bored. Received a call a few mins ago, the lady did not even introduce herself or the company she was calling from, but she did know all my answers from the questionnaire. When she said I had won a 7 days holiday, I did not give her the reaction she expected but said I was speechless...She gave me the 0800...number to ring where they would be giving me more details on the prize. I thought I'd google it as I am very aware, I am simply not that lucky. Good thing I did! Thank you people!

Just got back from the promotional holiday (that apparently doesn't exist)  The holiday was at Club la Costa at Sol Marina just outside Fuengirola.  My full review will be on trip advisor in the next week or so.  I do not work for them and said No them in the UK at Lakeside (we just wanted the "promotional" holiday) and once again last Wednesday during a 5 hour timeshare pitch on site.  There are lots of genuine reviews from real people who have attended (and some from people who were stupid enough to say yes to CLC) this holiday.  To summarise (and I won't be on my full review) It was a nice family holiday at a very cheap price.  The apartment was a 2 floor,2 bed with a stunning but somewhat noisy vista. If I had paid full price for it I would have felt let down but as it only cost me £280 for flights and accomodation (3 adults and one child) I have to say it was nice.  The timeshare pitch is quite hard and we met lots of people who were upset and let down by CLC because they signed up for them..It is a case of buyer be very aware with this company...

I've probably won about 9 holidays in the last 18 months!!!  I haven't gone to the bother of calling them back as I suspected that there would be a catch.  Whilst £50 of vouchers is appealing, I value my limited spare time more than that and don't fancy spending 5 hours in a presentation to get them!  Thanks for the insight - I'm interested to hear that people have gone along for these holidays and if you can resist/bear the hard sell presentation it might be worthwhile, but they're not my thing anyway - I prefer more exotic/cultural travel anyway.  Thanks for all the comments, interesting to find out that I'm not alone!

Got a call from these people. Similar number but they changed the last 2 digits to 04. Its one thing enetering a prize draw to win a free holiday, but its another being given time limits to call back by a certain time and then be told its £29.50 per person to go on the FREE holiday. Its very misleading and the adverts need to be re worded. In this case it is fraudulent and should be reported to trading standards. Its not about being stupid and giving your details away, if the advert says FREE and gives no other info then it is a lie. Of course you would get something out of it if you went, however you would have to endure a presentation (selling timeshares) which quite frankly is unfair when you have thought it was a prize draw for a FREE holiday. I thought the days of sales people pestering were well and truly over. If their offers and company is so great why do they need to employ people to do this stuff? I am sure the telephonists are mostly decent but the one I had was rather agressive when I highlighted this to him. I wasnt rude I was just honest and he didnt like it, was aggressive, threatening and hung up me. What can I say?

To be honest I aint got 2 pennies to rub together and I live on my own in a rented flat.
The reason why I gave my details at Birmingham airport was because the woman was wearing a tight White top and had humungus tits, hope she's there next time I'm there would love to stare at her decent portion of bazoomas again.
