- JGHReceived call to say I'd won a holiday - Southern Spain, Canaries etc. They said it was as a result of a survey I had completed in town a week or so beforehand. I do remember the survey & started to wonder if this was maybe a legit call for a change...but clearly not reading comments on this site! As per other people's comments, I was given a ref number & told to call 0800 988900 - glad I googled it! My husband will be smug to know he was right - he said "scam" straight away!!
- DJTold me I had won a free holiday
- KarenJust been called by these scammers..Guess what...I've won a 7 night holiday to Europe, to claim I have to call their freephone number of 0800 9889900...looks like they are at it again! I have checked the web address as apparently my name appears on there as being a "winner" and suprise suprise its under construction. Good job I listened to my mum when growing up...if it sounds too good to be true...it usually is!
- ToneSame here. Free luxury holiday in Europe for 4 people, ring 0800 988 9900 and quote long ref. wow ain't I lucky... I will go away, but not with them. Rather pay for it myself. At least I know it'll happen!
- Charlotte HHave just been called and told that I've won an all inclusive holiday for 4, 7 nights in Tenerife or Portugal and that I have to claim within 18 months. Then told to ring 'head office' on above no. given personal ref and told to call within 1/2 an hour to get £50 of shopping vouchers. I haven't obviously!! I did fill in a questionnaire at the Vitality Show recently.

- Janetreceived call saying i had won a holiday and to ring quoting refrence (S1843B153A) - googled number, another scam, not ringing, scary that they knew my name hubby's name and email address though
- Caller: dont know
- SarahJust had a call from a withheld number, answered it thinking it was my partner at work, but it was someone telling me that my partner had filled in a survey and had been entered into a prize draw and could she confirm some details, which was just, age range and where we shop before she told me that he had won the second prize of a european holiday and kept congratulating me.
All I had to do was ring 08009889900 and give them a 9 digit reference number, im always dubious of free things, as if i had won I wouldnt need to call a number, they would just send me tickets in the post. - LindseyHave been getting missed calls from a number unknown for several days, just answered one & it was from a company (didn't catch name), confirming details i had given in a "free draw" when i went shopping a few weeks ago - vaguely remember doing so!!! Was told I had won a 7 day holiday including flights & transfers etc blah blah...Was given freephone number 0800 988 9900 to call who would give me more info & send conf in post. Hhhhmmm very dubious.... googled number & this was the 1st website to come up!!!!! Glad I've got my wits about me & not as stupid as this company obviously hoped I would be!!!
- Josame as above............ only enetered draw cos felt sorry for lady on the street! that'll teach me....I won't be calling the number. I got ssupicious when GIRAFFE PROMOTIONS web site was mysteriously "under construction"
- Caller: giraffe promotions
- SydneyI notice that all the positive comments are from 'witheld' (company?). I also filled in a questionnaire at Vitality Show and was told that the results wold be published on the web site. As that was under construction I was suspicious. They've rung twice to say I'd won - ring a 'free' number. The company number on the slip was registered at Company House as a property company so all sounded scam like. If they rang and show me a convincing web site and sent me the terms in the post I'd consider taking up my 'prize'.
- Caller: not sure
- LoriJust been phoned to say that i had won a weeks foreighn holiday and to ring this number. S'pose i wont ring it now.
- Dorai got a call today that i won a trip. They told me to write down a free number to call the travel advisor but told them i had no pen with me. I asked them to send me the details by email but he insisted that he would text them to me. that was weird.... he texted me a ref no and the free phone of 08009889900. I am glad I told my boyfriend about it and checked it on the internet. The number he sent the text from was 00447904252617.
- MartinGot a call being advised I filled in a "Customer survey/satisfaction form" on my holiday last year, entered into a prize draw and have won - I NEVER WENT ON HOLIDAY LAST YEAR! However, knew my name, work mobile number?? and got me to confirm questions, which were probably leading guesses. Then told to call 08009889900 to claim my luxury holiday + 4 flights somewhere in europe, within the next 18 months, only to pay a £29.50 booking fee - Ref TT***42. I got home and googled the number - as I thought - very suspect!!
- Caller: CLC
- PJTHey phoned to tell me I had won a European holiday and that I should call the representative to collect my tickets and vouchers. They gave me a reference number and told to ring as soon as possible to collect befor.e all teh allocations were gone

- joe whiteIf this is a scam, why has club la costa be going for 25 years! use your brain people, yeah you don't get anything for nothing, but it's a good offer!
This internet site should be shut down because all you have to do is type in a number and its set up, type in your business number, and enough people will log complaints if there not sure of you! Thats the problem, your not sure. I took up the offer and am very happy, on my wages i could purchases a family holiday no problem, but i thought i'll give it a go! twice i've been to their meetings and twice i've got holidays etc... So all that moan and goan, your just causing others to miss out! Club la Costa, keep up the good work and thanks for the holidays.- Caller: clc
- Regina DyerLike most of here entered i have recieved the call from company called the Big Prize Draw and told me exactly same things; that i won 7 nights holiday worth £1000 for two and gave me number 08009889900 with reference to call. I have called and went trought all details and asked them to send me an information by email or post but was told to come to their office. I was going away and i said i cannot make and that it has to wait until my return. i still couldnt believe and decided to check and search on interenet. Lucky me i will not go and waist my time.
