PS2. Sorry for writing again, but I think you will find this interesting:

I just had another phone call from the company about whether I called the free phone number given to me earlier today. I said to the man politely but coldly that I am not interested in time-share. He insisted - annoyed - that this is not time-share but a free holiday. When I was about to say that I wish to be removed from the database he hang up on me!

Make your own conclusions as to whether you should even TRY this company's holidays.

Thank god I looked on here, same as all above, was going to go to an exhibition in Leeds and try and look like we were interested, but wasn't intending to fall for any of their crap.  After reading everyone else's comments, I'm going to save myself a boring trip to listen to some jumped up salesman pretending he's not really selling us anything.  What a load of bull****.  Like someone else said, if we've won - why don't they pay the admin fee and airport taxes?????

Just had the call, I'm sure that it's a scam! they told me that to claim my "free" holiday all i had to do was attend a time share talk at lakeside in Kent. Thats two things I dislike about the whole thing already, high pressure sales and SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus you'll be going with a load of free loading easily led numptys!!

Am I the luckiest person ever...? I have won this competition three times now. When I asked the third caller if I have to attend anything/go anywhere while on the holiday she said it was just a two hour presentation at the end of the holiday but could not confirm if there was anything else...but the marketing people on 0800 988 9900 would be able to tell me. For the third time I will ignore this call as I am sure I will win again. Don't bother.

I have received two calls from charming ladies who told me that I had won a holiday for 4 and I just needed to ring this number quoting a code (different one each time).  The women said I had won these holidays through filling in a survey.  I said is it a scam?  They said No.  I didn't ring, as my husband is very suspicious of anything like this, but instead I googled the number and came up with this site.  Thank goodness - I was on the point of ringing!  Gullible or what??

I have just received another call from a guy called TOM at Club La Costa asking if i had phoned the free phone No.
I don`t think this is a scam i just think it`s a time share company trying to sell itself by offering free holidays in the hope you will buy 1 at the end of your "free" holiday.
I asked Tom all the normal questions Re;cost, catch, how much pressure and he replied there is none you must how ever sit in a meeting for 2hrs to listen to there presentation and prove your identity.
I even told him i had googled the No and thought it was a scam and he then told me everthing i asked him.
I think there is a free holiday if you don`t mind wasting there`s and your time.

I just got a withheld number call from someone claiming to be working for PDV, which appears to be a marketing company. Apparently I've won a "free" holiday to be taken in the next 18 months subject to a £29.50 per person booking fee. If I ring 0800 988 9900 in the next hour, I'll get £100 of shopping vouchers.
After having googled the number and got into this and other forums, I don't think I'll bother ringing them.

Hi, to everyone corcerned about clc resorts & hotels

my name is paula and i recieved a call from clc stating that i had entered a online holiday survey/competition and that i had been awarded a 7 night luxury holiday for up to 4 people inclusive of return flights and 7 nights accomodation to either portugal, the canary islands or spain.

There was also two uk destinations for people who did not like flying which were either scotland or cornwall.

I was told that clc resorts & hotels cover the cost of the flights and accomodation for 7 nights and that there was a small booking fee of between £29.50p up to £64.50p payable four weeks prior to taking your holiday which also included all airport taxes and surcharges and that the holiday was valid for 18 months.

I was then told i had to make a date to attend a meeting to collect my holiday award and shopping vouchers and that i was under no obligation to buy, join or rent anything to recieve my holiday.

At first i was like, this cannot be serious, i had never been awarded anything like this in my life before, so i did a bit of research myself and there seemed to be good opinions about clc resorts & hotels and bad opinions too.

So in the end i made a date with clc resorts and hotels and went to the meeting, as it happened to be at my local shopping centre. When i got there i decided to leave all my money & credit cards in my car, just incase they did try to hard sell me. All i took was my i.d which i needed to collect my holiday award and shopping vouchers.

I was shown around with my partner and told about the resorts and what clc resorts & hotels offered as a company and told that they had been established for over 10 years.

The sales reps did try to convince me and my partner into buying into a timeshare but i stood firm and told them i was not interested at all and that i was hear to collect my holiday award & shopping vouchers, the meeting did go on for about 2 hours.

At the end of the meeting i was told to prove that i matched their criteria, so i showed them my i.d which they accepted and i was awarded my holiday and shopping vouchers.

I booked my holiday up and got the dates that me and my family wanted and went to spain for a week, everything went well and our accommodation was first class, the kids loved it.

I enjoyed the holiday so much that i told my friends & family to phone up and use the same reference code, so they could also expierence what i had in spain. But i must stress you do have to meet the criteria otherwise it would be pointless ringing up as they ask you for i.d when your at the meeting.

To meet their criteria, you and your partner must be:

    - between the ages of 25 - 62
    - married or living with a partner
    - and a uk homeowner

If you match the criteria then call them and say you've been awarded a 7 night luxury holiday for up to 4 people.

Use this reference code and freephone number below to claim your holiday.

    REFERENCE CODE: T T T 312
    AND CALL: 0800 988 9900

P.S - it would be best to call them on a weekday as i never recieved calls on the weekend, when they were calling in the past and if i remember correctly i think they are open till 8pm.

Takecare and i hope this helps everyone

    Paula x

Everyone is different, everyones situation is different, only you will know if this is for you, but for us, we are looking forward to many more holidays.

    All the best to you.

Pretty much the same as previous posters... 5 destinations, ring this number with reference...

Some maybe able to stomach the 2 hours presentation, the hard sell, the £29.50, the airport taxes and the all the rest, but I think I'll let it be!

Same as above, some woman calling from what sounded like a call centre.
Very eager to stress that I should call asap stating "...the lines are quite at the moment, so you should get through immediately..." and "...call now to get your extra prize..."
The only thing I did 'immediatley' was google the phone number... Low and behold it smells like a time share scam.
