Wife was taken in by a sales girl today and is has already packed her bags. I have just found this thread and glad I did in time, I have just texted my wife Mrs Gulible to inform her that I will not be calling back the 0800 988 9904 number as it is a total scam.

Warning to others nothing is free in this world so save up and save all the timeshare spiel.

had this call today from 01268557600 after filling in a survey. Been told to call 08009889904 to claim my free holiday and flights for 4 ppl.Didn't believe them so have searched the no and come to this site, how silly do they think we are!!

had a call at tea time today saying we had won a holiday for 4 for 7days in Spainish mainland or canary islands our choice just need yo call a FREE telephone number 0800 988 9904 and quote reference: 18 Malaga.  This was from a 30 second 'survey' at Malaga airport last weekend waiting for a delayed flight!

Due to my natural distrust and motto "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" I thought I would google the number first.  Especially as he said if I call it within the hour I would receive £50 spending money too!!

Needless to say having read the comments above I won't be making the call.

Free holiday and flights for 4 people (if any under 2 they go too) to southern spain, portugal or canaries. Ring 0800 9889904 and quote CC266 to claim - don't think I'll bother.

Received call - won a prize - do not remember even entering a competition as I was in NZ when I was supposed to have entered - anyway - I was told to ring 0800 988 9904 to get info re prize - I was then told "we" had to attend a briefing 2 hrs at a local hotel in 2 weeks to receive tickets etc - no costs involved except £29.50 admin charge for each person going on 5 star holiday.

Thought it was too good to be true - googled number - brought me to you - Thanks for saving me a wasted journey / money / time etc

Called today by CLC to say that I had completed a survey and won a holiday for a family of 4.  I asked what's the catch, and the lady replied no catch.  I replied you don't get anything free!
Anyway the number I was told to call is 0800 988 9904 and quote the reference.

Same as all the other entries - got a call today from the 01268 number (which is in Basildon Essex by the way) saying exactly same thing - call the freephone number, BUT MAKE SURE IT'S FROM A LANDLINE - the operator repeated this three times.  I don't trust anyone and just to prove myself right, googled the 0800 number - no surprise there.  I lived in Cyprus for 7 years and can tell you that the time-share scam is nowhere near 'on the right track' as some would have us believe.  Young people are 'brainwashed' to company policy and are spurred on by the belief they will earn loads of dosh.  WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T FALL FOR THIS PACK OF LIES AND CLEVER VERBAL SCRIPT.  They will promise you a trip for 4 to Southern Spain, Portugal or Gran Canaria; for those who like the rain and cold, you can choose Scotland or Cornwall - each of you pays a booking fee of £29.50 and their reward is you recommending their company.  What a load of s...t.

Got the call this afternoon, asking me to call the 0800 number, just like everyone else!  Nice to know there are sites like this to confirm my suspicions!

Well they are still at it!!!! SCAMMING us all. Or trying to at least. I was on my lunch break at work and received a call out of the blue from a company called CLC (CLub La Costa perhaps?) to announce I'd won a luxury holiday for 4 people all expenses paid. and all I had to do is ring 08009889904 to claim this fantastic gift. Do they think we're all stupid? My guess is they are hoping some people will slip through the net and get conned into this time share crap!
These people should be closed down and locked up. Im getting tired of people trying to scam money off us. If it's not bloody banks its insurance companies to something else.

I actually did fill out a questionnaire and just got my call from 01268 557600 to tell me I had been awarded a holiday. I called 0800 9889904 and the deal is that I have to go and attend an exhibition about the choice of holiday I could claim.

I'm as suspicious as the next person, hence me goolging the numbers and ending up here, but none of the comments above seem to have any evidence that this is a scam. Is there DEFINITELY no free holiday, or is it just that you have to sit through 2hrs of hardsell for timesharesto get it? I'm a pretty strong character and think I could hold out for the sake of a free break!

I have had several calls in the last few months from a company called Big Prize Draw UK. They go on to tell me that I completed a survey some time ago and was entered in a prize drawer for a luxury holiday. They then tell me that I have won a 7 day holiday in the South of Spain and to claim it I need to call 0800 988 9904. Plus If I claim it within the next hour I will also get £50 high street vouchers. Thankfully for google I typed the phone number in and found this website. Just as I expected, a big fat scam!

Had the call from nice lady on 01268557600 today, played along but thought it was probably a scam because said I had filled in a street survey which I have intentionally never done so who knows where they get your info from.  Asked to call 08009889904 and thanks to this site won't be bothering!

I had a withheld number call me today to say that I completed a survey 18 months ago and was elegible to receive £50 worth of shopping vouchers, I was then asked if I still owned my own home which if it was 18 months ago I was back home living with my parents.  I was then told to ring 0800 9889904 as I had also won a holiday.  This sounds like a scam and I will not be ringing any number.  They must think people are stupid

same here, just got my phonecall - googled the number whilst this woman was rabbiting on, i asked is it a time share - "no" she said just a presentation on what holiday we could choose....
they must be down south now - has anyone phoned the 0800 number this week?

i too have been awarded the holiday, jsut turn up to be talked at for 2 hours and then get my free holiday,  but if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is.
