Like most of the others I received call (from 01268557600) telling me to call the freephone number 08009889904 as I had won a free luxury holiday for 4 from survey completed at airport.
I always take the optimistic view on these things, googled the freephone number, and lo and behold, a time share scam.  What a surprise!!!!
Does anyone still fall for these scams????

got the call today, after answering some holiday questions in Romford 3 weeks ago. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
Number offered me 50 pounds worth of highstreet vouchers for showing up in Lake Side shopping Centre on saturday the 19th of september or saturday the 26th (at either 11 or 3) this was on top of the usual luxury all payed for holiday for 4. Hubby googled the number and thats how we ended here.
no highstreet vouchers, just disappointed children.

I was called today after filling in a survey at a very busy and rushed shopping trip at the begining of Sept in Longwell Green. Although she said it was a free holiday?!! and to phone quick to get £50 in High street vouchers. Nothing is for free these days and if it's too good to be true then it probably is.So googled the number ( 0800 9889904) and found this site. thanks!

Hey that's not fair, they only offered me £25 in High Street Vouchers for attending the ticket presentation!!!  Gutted!

Just received the call about an hour and a half ago... and thought I'd google the telephone number (08009889904)- though I knew it would probably be a scam anyway. So glad I came across this forum. Won't bother ringing the number now. Pity, I could have done with a free holiday!!!!

I have just received the standard phone call that everyone else has had. Can anyone tell me... is it just a case of go along to the meeting, stand your ground for a bit, dont part with any money then get a free holiday and do the same thing at a meeting there? or is there more to it? Becausse i think for the sake of a few hours at a presentation i could do with a free holiday... thanks.

Same old rubbish about winning a free holiday...absolutely no requirement to pay anything to receive a 1 week holiday in one of dozens of locations for 4. They have now phoned at least twice to try and convince me to ring the number. "well done ...and enjoy your holiday"....that'll be right!

But how do they get airside at Malaga Airport to do the survey in the first place?

Got the call from the same numbers. Thought it was too good to be true. I did a survey airside at Palmaover a year ago fo a "student". My clever daughter said she would google the number I didn't know you could do that.I certailt won't be phonong th number.

I called the 0800 number and won a holiday, a new car and a cuddly toy. NOT.
This firm are a rip off, this will just COST YOU money and you will be given a hard sell. Do somthing better with your time than wasting it on this rip off companies.

Why dont we all ring the freephone number? 0800 988 9904. It costs them to receive the call but costs us nothing (from a landline). If we all do it at 3pm today, that will probably block their lines and maybe cause a small earthquake (unlikely but exciting nonetheless).

I received a Call from 01268557600 saying that I won 7 days luxury holiday in Uk or in spain, and to call th 08009889904 number to confirm the prize. So I called that number. They have invited me to come to west end with my partner. I felt something was funny, so I googled the 0800 number and found this site.

What I dont understand, is clearly the 01268557600 number is visible and a Uk land line number, Why can't police do something to prevent this crime?

called today re free holiday and flights through a survey questionnaire apparently done 18 months ago - told to phone the above number within 30 mins and claim prize - did not follow up as do not enter
survey questionnaires.

Just had a call from CLC Resorts and Hotels - 01268557600.As a result of a survey I'd done - Asda shopper,home owner and age group (wrong age group quoted) - I'd won a holiday for 4 to Portugal,Canaries,Southern Spain,Scotland or Cornwall for 7 days anytime in the next year.Need to call 08009889904 within an hour and quote a reference number so they could post me confirmation.No catch.Thought I'd check them out first.Glad I did.Won't be calling.

call and come to ashare/ club resort  for 2 hrs  then get your free holiday. I dont think so

I got the call last friday, telling me to call for my free holiday, after a MSN quiz I entered! didnt call, just put the number in google and found this page so its doing the rounds again then!

Received the same call as everyone else from 01269557600, stating due to participating in a 2 minute Airport survey, on our way back from Majorca in Setember, we'd been chosen to receive an all expenses paid holiday for 4, anytime in the next 18 month. After minutes of dialogue, with me expressing my suspician, I was assured this was no scam, risk free, just a free holiday to show us and our family or friends what was on offer. Timeshare was not mentioned at any point. Thanks to Googling the 0800 freephone number given by the operator who called us to offer the 'good news', we now learn this to be the case. Folks, trust me, I've been on this Earth a long time, no-one gives you ANYTHING, you will EVERY SINGLE PENNY of that holiday, (if it indeed does exist), if you subject yourself and a partner/friend to the dreadful people who will try and sell you accomodation as part of a timeshare group. You WILL regret it!! Don't do it!!!  Thanks to all fellow Googler comments.

Just had the call from 01268557600 'congratulations...blah..blah...holiday for 4...blah...blah' I'd forgotten all about the 'survey' that was done in Palma in September, but knew at the time that unless someone phoned to tell me I'd won 3 grand it would be a rubbish call. I let the girl go through her spiel and fake excitement, and was told to phone 08009889904 and quote 35Palma.
I might do if I'm bored at work tomorrow and fancy a bit of fun but for no other reason.

Just got a call from them claimin I won a free holiday... I do remember completing the questionaire at this years Berkshire show in Newbury.  Thought it was to good to be true so gooled the free phone number.

Just for a laugh rang the number, "no its not a presentation sir, just a meeting to meet the holiday reps" Doh!!

Strangely not going

I just called 0800 988 9904 as requested and told them I was calling about my prize.   I then asked them to hold on for a few seconds.  Went and made a cup of tea and when I got back they were still waiting. Managed to waste their time for five minutes or so.  Next time I'll have to find a more creative way to waste their time...  

What I want to know is how the survey people manage to get into the depature lounge in the first place?!?!?!
