I had a call from 01268 557600 today.  All the stuff mentioned, free holiday, phone 0800 988 9904 and quote a reference.  This was all from filling out a questionnaire in Alicante a couple of weeks ago.  Thank you for saving me the time and inevitable disappointment when finding out it's a scam....

Got message same as everyone after filling out survey at Alicante airport.  Got told to ring the number and decided to google it.  Thank you to everyone who has posted as has really made me grateful that I didn't ring thje number.  part of me also thinks that the ones who have said they did get the holiday might actually be people who are employed by the cowboy company.

asked a few questions at alicante airport got a call about 2 weeks later (10/11/2009)told i'd won a free all expenses paid holiday for seven nights to spain for 4. the number i was called from was 01268 557600 (they tried 3 times previous to this but i wasn't in. i didn't return the call as i didn't know the number)i was told to phone 08009889904 quoting ref no. i didn't bother thought it would be timeshare

Got a call from some hotel company and said I'd completed a questionnaire the other week - dont think I did but anyway, she said I'd won a holiday for 4 to anywhere in Europe incl UK hol if preferred and that no obligation holiday didnt need to book for next 18 months, but had to call today to get the written confirmation.  (free call to 0800 988 9904)  She was surprised at my unenthusiastic response to winning a holiday!  I said I've heard it all before and its a scam and she reassured me it wasnt and that it wasnt timeshare or anything as there's absolutely no obligation.  I wont be calling though as its still a holiday club which you have to go to the presentation to collect your tickets/prize yadayadayada... Why waist their time - its a nonsense!

i just got a call from 01268 557600 on my mobile to say that i have won a free holiday, 4 tickets and free accommodation at a 2 bed luxury self catering apartment in southern spain, tenerife, algarve, scotland or cornwall!! i was sooo excited and thought wow, but my husband did not believe it and asked the lady all sorts of questions.  we were told to call the 0800 number which i did, they took our details and booked an appointment.  the lady kept saying congrats and well done. my hubby still did not believe her and said there must be a catch. anyways, i have booked the appt but my clever 13 yr old daughter went on the internet and found this website!! i am so glad she did, cos i was sort a believing it!! trust me to, stupid or what!!!!!

Also received this call they seemed very interested in getting my date of birth. Not happy when not given. Why would they be so keen and need to know this?

I did a survey in the street and yes i was called. i went along to a place in lakeside. i got £50 shopping voucher of my choice. we didnt join the hoilday club but we did have a 7 night hoilday for £29-50 per person. we had a fantasic time so all you people shuldnt knock it untill you tryed. if i had come on here and went by all what all you people are saying then i wouldnt have gone so im glad i did :)

Alison lets have a little honesty here.  An initial 29.50 pp followed by airport tax's etc.  Total cost for 4 closer to £280 excluding transfers and insurance.  Still a good cheap holiday and we enjoyed it but then again we didn't buy!!!!!!

Phoned last night and again today on my mobile, from 01268 557600. Congrats, Congrats, Congrats! I have apparently won a holiday - with no strings attached - in my choice of 5 places - and all I had to do was call 08009889904. How stupid do they think the general public is for pity's sake? Go out and book a last minute holiday for peanuts, and know that you are getting what you want. Scam artists all the way!!!!

Got a call from that number just now. Told the guy that a) cannot remember filling it out and b) do not believe in winning prizes over the phone. Got the number and a code and he told me he is going to call back tonight - well I will not call. I really am amaze by the amount of calls one gets here in Britain - in Germany these companies are not allowed to call unless you explicitly allow them to. It is so annoying - and with regard to the timeshare scheme - who in their right mind would still buy into timeshares......

So glad I googled the 0800 988 9904 number and came to this forum. My husband got a call just as he came in from work, saying all the above, "filled in a survey.....won a holiday for 4 in Spain, Portugal etc.....definitely a freephone number.....no catch......etc etc blah blah"

Thought I'd report this, since I see there hasn't been anything posted for a couple of years so perhaps they are starting up again? Thanks anyway.

hi. I have just received a call from a 01268551600, from a James Murphy. He said that I have completed an online survey and I have won a holiday in Tenerife for 4 people, all expensive paid.
He asked me to call 08009889904 to confirm my details. As I unfortunately I am easily fooled I called this number straight away just to find out that I don't qualify as I am not married and I don't live with a partner!
Lesson to learn for future!

 Just recieved a call from the to good to be true number 01268557600 told we had won a 5* european holiday googled the 08009889904 number he left and found this site so beware they are still on the go still after your hard earned cash.

Got a call today from a guy saying I'd won a holiday. Phone number didn't show up on my mobile. The guy asked if I was married and owned my own house. He then gave me a reference number and told me to call 08009889904. Called the number and got through to 'Debbie'. She tells me I need to attend a presentation in Tottenmham Court Road. I arranged a time to go. Googled the number out of curiosity, and came to this website. Thanks everyone.

Same as all the others above... Still trying it on 21st January.. I let the woman do all the talking, so at least it cost the Company the maximum phone-call charge possible :)

hi i just had a call from a lady claiming i had filled in a survey in the street and i dont do them and that i was a home owner which i am not. she gave me this number with a reference and said it will be valid for 18 months.

Yip. Count me in.  Got a call today.  Told I had won a holiday etc etc etc.  No chance of me calling the freephone number but goggled it anyway and found all these comments.  I expect them to call me again!  They can be persistant in these call centres.

Had a call to say that my husband had taken part in a survey and had won a family holiday to europe. Asked if he had, and the answer was no.

Entered the telephone number on google and it confirmed it was a scam.
