Just got call on my mobile telling me i had won prize of 1 week in a choice of various destinations for 4 peeps as i was drivig at the time i gave my home landline number for them to ring wife give details etc .Got home some 45 mins later to find the wife had checked the 0800 number and came tyo this site ( I AM PLEASED TO SAY )Guess we aint going on holiday for free then (boo hoo) still I would have thought the places that allow these people to do what they do dont run more checks etc as this Happened in Bristol Airport a place with real tough security ( that a real joke so tough that a time share scam is permitted to be run under there very noses .but they wont let you get dropped off outside the terminal its a real joke

I got a call today telling me to phone this free phone number 08009889904, I was not going to ring it as I am not easily taken in, My son suggested I google the number and here I found your usefull site, I have only left a comment because I think the more of us that do so the harder it will be for these companies to operate. I hate being stopped in the street to complete surveys but it was raining and I felt sorry for the lady who seemed desperate to survey someone, next time I shall just be rude and ignore them, there has got to be better jobs out there than trying to scam the public.

same old story, my boyfriend and I filled out a questionnaire in Malaga Airport
and he has just receive a call offering a free holiday........... Don't think so. As you all say "nothing in life is free"  :)

I just got called a few minutes ago. What a scam! The woman (Sarah) on the phone doesn't even give you a chance to question her, she just motors through her script and sounds almost irritated with you although she is supposed to be congratulating you on your "free holiday"!
I just called 0800 988 9904 to claim my "prize". I confirmed that it is indeed Club La Costa and unfortunately if you are not married or live with your partner in your bought property you do not qualify for the prize you apparently "won" and the call is ended promptly...

i work for one of these companies...you do have to attend a presentation..pay a small booking fee of 29.50...this is for a holiday worth 1500.00...you do not have to join or buy anything to get your holiday...the big problem is?
there are so many simpletons on the phone that DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT IS SAID TO THEM..knowone is told they have WON a holiday all calls are recorded and this is easily verified,look at how many posts on here saying they were told they had won a holiday,for gods sake you idiots why dont u listen to what is being said.

Suprisingly i have just had a call as i won in Palma airport, i am just not that lucky so checked and i can see that yep, i'm not that lucky. Thanks for telling me!

Chap named John who knew all my details, post code, address, email etc
'Just to confirm he was speaking to me'.
He then went on to say I had won an all expenses paid luxury 7 day holiday to Tenerife and if I called today I would get £50.00 shopping vouchers thrown in.
Number I was called on was as previously shown - 01268 557 600.
This number called a couple of times already but did not leave a phone message on the answer phone.
Free phone number for me to ring was 0800 988 9904 and I was also given a reference number to quote - all sounded very official.
Got through to Costa Club Holidays. Need to attend an exhibition. May go just to see what it's like. Does definitely seem to be a Time share or something similar. I remain very suspicious I have to say!

I must say nine pages of telling the same story over and over again is hardly riveting. I think you get the idea after the first couple of posts - and because veryone has got it wrong it doesn't lend much credibility to this site.

It's not a scam, it's a timeshare promotion. A scam is where people try to get money off you through deception and lies. This type of selling is fairly common. I know people who have been on these and had a free holiday out of it, providing you can brush off the hard sell it's a cheap way of having a week abroad, if that's your idea of a nice holiday, it's not mine.

I got caught out at Bristol airport too, I'm annoyed with myself for stopping but I can hardly blame the company concerned for that, and they use some clever techniques with language. When you get the phone call (as I just have) you only have to politely decline and ask them to destroy the survey paperwork. There's really nothing to get hysterical about, they aren't going to come and kill your pets or children or anything, they are just trying to sell timeshares.

I had exactly the same “luck” 2 hours ago and after reading all these messages I won’t even try to call the number, but how do we really know if we have win something at this days? We won’t …. because nothing is for free.

I received a call this morning from 01268557600 saying that I had won a holiday for 4 people after filling in a questionnaire. What questionnaire I asked. Never really got answer to that one! The lady (Sara) said that I was to call 0800 988 9904 with a reference number and that I would then be told about this holiday. She then after giving me her speal that it was nice to have talked to me (I didn't get a word in edgeways!) and said goodbye.
Thought it sounded dodgy so google'd the number and got to this

just got a missed call from this number and as it as an odd number i googled it. Am so pleased as i won't be answering if they call again - which they will!! How do these people get our numbers?? and at 8pm in the evening too. Great site - it's so good to be able to find these things out.

i recieved a call from a withheld number telling me i'd completed a questionaire in my home town of kidderminster in which i'd been entered into a draw to win a 7 night holiday anywhere in europe and i was a lucky winner!! all i had to do was ring the 0800 number give them my reference so they could check some details with me and my paperwork would be in the post tomorrow morning, curiosity got the better of me so i called the number and confirmed my details only to be told i didn't qualify for this prize and then cut off!! slightly confused by this i googled the number and came here!!

have been pestered on and off now for over a week by a indian woman telling me exactly the same thing that i had filled in a survey and had won a holiday of my choice in europe despite telling her i was not interested she proceeded to tell me that she had spoken to my wife earlier and that she had agreed to go along with the holiday after speaking to my wife about this she told me nobody had phoned that day needless to say 20 minutes later the phone rang it was the same woman talking to my wife informing her that i had said i agreed to go on this holiday my wife told her in no uncertain words what she could do with the prize however 3 other people from the same company have phoned up every half hour since

Using another number now +16464951979,chap calling himself Alex told me he was ringing from Pitsea Essex in central London, he should give up this job go into full time education studying geography.
